Guest guest
Dear members, It might be interesting to see the explanations of the experts in vedic astrology concerning the following case of mental disturbance probably related to the combination of a heavy malefic plus Kalasarpa yoga, which started with the onset of Rahu dasha around 1985, and apparently is now recovering after the end of Rahu dasha in mid-Oktober 2003. Moreover she has been divorced in November 2003, and has no children so far. DOB 06.28.1962, at 08.30 AM, birth place 8e43/47n30. Guest guest
What is the time zone? Guest guest
Assuming that it is CET, I get a lagna of 27d 46m in Cancer. Based on this, Venus is outside the nodal axis and given other indications in the horoscope, I doubt that a strong Kalasarpa Yoga is present. On the other hand, the mental afflictions are clearly explained by other features. Moon, as the ascendant lord is heavily influenced by Mars in no less than 3 major ways: close conjunction, placement in rasi and navamsa. Rahu is placed in a nakshatra of Saturn, in the rasi of moon (which in turn is influenced by Mars), in a navamsa of mars. And finally, both Saturn and Mars, which are the two strongest planets in the horoscope, aspect Rahu. The only saving grace for Rahu is conjunction with Venus, which is unfortunately not strong enough to ward off the many evil indications. Rahu typically gives the results of the influencing planets during it's dasa. The strong influence of Mars on both Rahu and Moon indicates that the mental afflictions probably started from a basis of physical abuse. Saturn makes these afflictions chronic. Since, I see Venus as the helper in this equation, her husband should have helped her during this period. I do not see him as the cause of these afflictions. I would have expected that the Mars mahadasa would be good from career perspective, which would probably have been in an area related to either engineering or medicine with emphasis on surgery (probably not nursing). Given that Jupiter is not directly influenced by this vicious circle of Rahu-Ketu-Mars-Saturn which ruled her life for the past 19 years, she has a good chance of getting out of her afflictions. Jupiter in a house of Saturn and Saturn in the 7th indicates possibility of marriage to a person older than herself in Jupiter-Saturn period. Some of these problems may return during Saturn dasa, but not at the same level of intensity as during the Rahu dasa. Good luck to her. Best, Krishna > What is the time zone?
