I've just finished reading abook called the third eye written by Lobsang Rampa. It explains how the tibetan buddists activated the third eye by a surgicalprocedure..As a result the author develops clairvoyance and is able to decipher the auras that surround us - the purest of pure have golden auras.of course this procedure is done on certain people who have the latent posiiblity of clairvoyance in their horoscopes- the combos here are not mentioned. The legend goes like this that our predecessors could usetheir third eye. In those days both devas and man walked the planet earth and man as is his wont sought to replace gods by eliminating them - conveniently forgetting that what the man could see the gods could see thousand times better so as a consequence the third eye of the man was closed.
