Dear all Guru's and Param Guru's!

 

Pranam!

 

I want to study at home Vedic Astrology. I have

attempted to read "Living beneath the vedic sky" by

William Levacy and "Hindu predictive astrology" by B V

Raman with some partial success.

 

Right now my parents have gone to New Delhi and Bombay

and I want them to bring a whole lot of books on the

subject for me ALL IN ONE TRIP.

 

WOULD YOU PLEASE RECOMMEND THE NAMES OF THE BOOKS THAT

THEY SHOULD BUY FOR ME. I AM BUYING ALL OF THEM AT

ONE TIME. I ALSO ADDITIONALLY WANT SOME BOOK WHICH

HAS REMEDIAL MEASURES INCLUDING STONES AND MANTRA'S.

First and foremost get the two-volume set called Brihat Paraasara Hora

Sastra (BPHS) and any books written by Sanjay Rath or PVR Narasimha Rao. You

will then have enough to entertain you for some time.

followed for learning astrology.

 

1) An Integrated approach to Vedic Astrology by Shri

PVR Narshima Rao published by Sagar Publication, Ved

Mansion, Janpath, New Delhi. It is an excellent book

and covers most of the topics (almost all topics).

 

2) How to Judge Horoscopes by Shri B.V. Raman (Vol I

and II)

 

3) Timing of Events, Crux of Vedic Astrology by Shri

Sanjay Rath Ji.

 

4) Vedic Remedies in Astrology - By Shri Sanjay Rath

Ji.

 

There are other books too authored by Shri Sanjay Rath

ji, that you might be interested in

 

1) Varga Chakra

 

2) Udu and Vimsottari Dasha

 

3) Narayan Dasha
