Dear Neesh:

 

I'd suggest....

 

You can peruse the different books on Astrology/ East and West... to get a

flavor as to the different approaches to Astrology.

 

After that I'd recomend that you have your chart done. If you haven't had

it done before, you're in for a special treat.

 

If you have, then my 2nd recomendation is to have 3 charts done.

 

In having 3 charts done.... you'll experience at least, two things.

 

You'll find things that seem similar in each of your Readings. This is

likely your chart.

 

And sometimes, when you experience things that seem different in the

different charts, sometimes.... this is due to the subjectivity of the

Jyotishee....

 

See, Astrology is a Subjective science, where the subjectivity of the

'Interpretor' is vital to gaining insight into your subjectivity.

 

And one other thing that occurs to me, is when you have your charts, read,

or are reading books or even websites, devoted to Astrology...

 

look for one very important thing....

 

And that is.... what 'feels like you'.... This is also likely 'Your Chart'.

 

I call it the Astrological Resonance, which feels like an 'aha', or

'eureka', or 'wow'....

 

These are all indications of your chart!

 

Strengths or weaknesses, both will make you feel goose bumps up and down

your spine!

PSS.... One final thing: When you start studying your chart;

focus on 3 things...

 

Your Rising Sign, Moon Sign....and Sun Sign....

 

And Study.... significations of the Sun and Planets.... Houses and Signs...

 

First.... After that....do Aspects....

 

but....

 

Resist the impulse to try and go too deep too fast in Jyotish...

 

 

There are so many divisions, aspects and dephths.... to Jyotish...

 

Secure a strong foundation in the basics....first...

 

then when you start exploring.... Dasas and Transits....and even

predictions... you'll have a firm.... basis!
