Guest guest
Dear Shiv, > || Om Namo Bhagawate Rishikeshaya || You were taught incorrectly. Rishikesha does not have any meaning in Sanskrita. You are missing an H. The mantra should be Om Namo Bhagawate Hrisheekeshaaya Hrisheeka means sense organs or just senses. "Hrisheeka + Isha (lord)" becomes Hrisheekesha on guNa sandhi. It means "lord of the senses". Some people write Hrisheekesha as Risheekesha, but it is simply a corruption and not acceptable at all. Please correct your mantra. May Jupiter's light shine on us, Narasimha
