Guest guest
Dear All: I am writing to clarify the effects of Gaj-kesari Yoga. My Mo-Ju started in March of 2003. My natal moon and Jupiter (retrograde) are in Leo in the same house that Jupiter is currently transiting. My lagna is Libra. Within two days of the Mo-Ju period I lost my father. Within the next two months my wife relocated to another city for job. Two months later I lost my job, house and literally everything else. I have yet to see any positive effect of the Gaj-kesari yoga. Could someone clarify this for me? Is there a solution or an end in sight? My details are DOB 12th March 1968, Bombay, India. Time is 10.55pm.
Guest guest
The effects of Gaja Kesari yoga and usually felt through the stronger planet (Jupiter or Moon). In your case Jupiter seems stronger. Also I don't think you have a strong GKY since Jupiter is retrograde and is placed in the 12th in Navamsa. There is also malific aspect to Jupiter and Moon by Mercury who is lord of the 12 (loss). However, Moon being placed strong and bright in the 11th shouldn't be all that that bad for you. Other members maybe be able to examine this case better. Regards, Harsha vedic astrology, "sdj25455" <sdj254@h...> wrote: > Dear All: > I am writing to clarify the effects of Gaj-kesari Yoga. Guest guest
For Libra Lagna Jupiter is lord of 3rd and 6th, so is malefic. Although there is a GajaKesari yogam it is not strong and the sub dasha of Jupiter will not be so good. This is my humble opinion and I want to state that i am just a student. Guest guest
You cant reach a conclusion just depending on the Gajakesari yoga. A lot of other things have to be considered. - Position of Jupiter in Navmansh - Planets aspecting jupiter - Nakshatra lord for Jupiter and its position in your chart Also according to some text/observations a retrogade planet acts like a debilitated planet and hence gives bad results. regards -Mukul vedic astrology, Arun Kalyanaraman <asgoodasitgets75> wrote: > Dear sdj254, > > For Libra Lagna Jupiter is lord of 3rd and 6th, so is malefic. Guest guest
Dear Ramani Ji Moola trikona for Jupiter in Dhanus falls in Moola Nakshathra, ruled by Ketu.So do you think it is bad for jupiter to be there? Is this a standard rule or are there any exceptions.Because one tends to think that strength of a planet in the descending order is Deeptha,Mulatrikona,Swakshethra. Kindly elaborate. respect Pradeep vedic astrology, Ramani Alwar <aramani_1969> wrote: > Hello > Gaja Kesari and any yoga giving planets at the first place should not be in retrograde in nature, except retro debilitated planets. > Another thing is the Leo is the 11th house for the Libra ascendants!!! Always we have to remeber any planet with the star of Ketu cannot yield good results. Since both the planets are in the stars of Ketu the native suffers. This is nonsense; I have never heard of such a rule. Consider the following chart: Jupiter in Sagittarius 7 deg 58' and Venus in Leo 10 deg 31'. Both planets are in the star of Ketu and ascendant is Cancer. The Jupiter-Venus period was very lucky and productive for the native.
Guest guest
Quietwolf, I think everyone has a right of opinion. We all are students of astrology here. To say one way or the other should be qualified by a reason. We cant just throw it out by calling it nonsense. In this world for every case you will be able to provide an example horoscope justifying any point. This clearly explains the complex task of predictions. In my humble opinion only certain yogas have the power to nullify all other evils or good in a horoscope else we need to look at every possible factor in judging a horoscope. regards Mag vedic astrology, "quietwolf1972" <quietwolf1972> wrote: > > > > Finally and very very importantly, Jupiter is placed in the star of > Ketu and also the Moon is with the star of Ketu. Guest guest
If something is a spade, I believe in calling it a spade. I dont see anything in my post which disparages the poster personally; if you cannot take criticism of your opinions you will not learn much. > Quietwolf, I think everyone has a right of opinion. And which yoga says placement in *any* star of Ketu is *very* bad? If the original poster was proficient enough to make up his own rules, he should also be willing to accept criticism.
