Up to now, Saturn has not produced any bad results with regards to

the things he indicates: marriage (as 7th lord), children (aspect on

5th house), chronic diseases/span of life (8th house). The native is

healthy, has been married since Ju/Mo/Sa (Dec 99), has a daughter

Ju/Ra/Sa (July 02). So your analysis seems to be reasonable. Also

note that Saturn is the AK for the horoscope.

Now, my question is as to the future: he has worked in the old

research field for more than 9 years now ... why did he suddenly

switch now? Is there anything in his horoscope to indicate the reason

for the switch and how his career might be? Saturn's period is a long

one and it will probably more or less decide the amount of success he

enjoys in his career ... any comments on this aspect?

dear sir,

10th house brings about change of work/job etc in

addition to change of place.saturn is retrograde

towards the 10th house,therefore the change.Saturn

aspects the 10th from Moon sign also in addition?.

dear Sir,

I said that saturn is retrograde towards the tenth

house which is his sign of debilitation.But you should

also note that Jupiters aspect is also there on the

tenth house.saturn may give some slight problems also

regarding job /work etc.

Thank you for your analysis. You indicate slight problems in

job/work? Will he be denied promotions or growth in the job? Which

sub-periods should he be careful about? Given that he has done very

well in his previous research career up to now (all of it in Jupiter

Mahadasa), how does his future career (in Saturn Mahadasa) compare?

Dear Sir,

Saturn is in the labhasthanam.That is good.His sign

dispositor is being aspected by Jupiter.That gives

strength.Saturn is the Atmakaraka.His situation in a

Venusian sign is also good.Saturn is a yogakaraka from

Moon sign.As I alredy said ,saturn on an average ought

to be beneficial during his dasa bhukthis.

Coming to Jupiter-dasa,

He is situated in the sixth with Rahu.He is the sixth

lord from the Moon sign also.Both the sixth lords from

lagnam and from Moon sign are placed in Moola

trikonam.Therefore the native ought to have had

results pertaing to the sixth house in full

measure.Results such as pertaining to litigation,

health ,court ,justice, success over enemies medical

practice,rasayana shatram,income,etc.As Mars aspects

there ought to have been stagnation during the

Jupiter-sub period of jupiters dasa.As Jupiter aspects

the second house too, matters related to reasearch

work would have got suspended for a while.Mars aspects

the 6th both from lagnam and Chandra lagnam.

Some times my imagination goes wild and seems to be

running riot.There is parivartana between

Mercury,Venus ansd Sun and such a parivartana is

between planets vs their moolatrikona rasis.Then

Mercury who is the 9th lord happens to carry with him

the amnsam of his moolatrikonam also.

Therefore during Jupiters dasa the native ought to

have got results pertaining to the 9th house as well.

Regarding Shani dasa i already said that the native

possibly may have to be confronted with professional

problems change of place,tediouswork,some slight

disappointments, I mean the normal and usual ones,etc

We dont know as to how many of our speculations come

true.

I am not sure I understand what you are trying to say. Your

conclusion seems to be that you cannot make a prediction as to the

specific nature of the results related to career because there are

some contradictory indications. Without being sarcastic, I would have

to say that this does not give me any more information than I had

before.

Except for success over enemies and good income, the rest of the

indications do not seem to be particularly relevant. I am sure he was

never involved in any litigation or court matter and his occupation

is not related to chemistry or medicine (rasayana sastra).

On the contrary, the native's research work did quiet well in Jupiter-

Venus period and in most of Jupiter's maha-dasa (including Mars sub-

period). When every one else was loosing their jobs in silicon valley

and moving to lesser paying jobs, the native moved up in his career

and his pay increased significantly over the last few years.
