Makara Rasi is not in Gandantha Rasi.The only Gandantha poistions are between

the end and beginning of Jala and Agni Tattwa Rashis ie.,Meena Rasi end and

Mesha Rasi beginning,Karka Rasi end and Simha Rasi beginning and Vrischika Rasi

end and Dhanu Rasi beginning.

I have written an article about gandantha about 2 years back.If you can browse

VA group the archives you can go through that article.

Dear Ramdasji,

You are absolutely right. As I understand Gandanta is colloquial form of

Khandaanta- end of a section(Khanda). Lot of posts are going on about

various(?) Gandantas and it was high time someone gave factual position. I

think Rasi sandhis etc. are being confused with Gandaanta.
