Hare Rama Krishna,

Dear François,

In my opinion, you may want to start reading the "Astrology for

Beginners", "How to Judge Horscopes-I, and II", then by the time

you are half thru, if you get Narasimha Ji's Book, then you may

start reading that.

Hope this suggesion is helpful.

Dear Mike,

The proceedings of SJC 2002 "Vyankatesa Sharma Varga

Workshop" is available, under the name of "VARGA

CHAKRA" edited by Sanjay Rath and published by Sagar

Publications. Which is the compilation of 18 research

papers spreaded over 320 pages, a very good book for

studing divisional charts in detail.

While amongst Jyotish Classics, I have come to know that

"Sarvarth Chintamini" is a rich source on divisional chart.

Whereas for biggners, Narasimharo have provided a good

chapter in his 'Vedic Astrology- An integrated Approach', but

rather than analysis it only covers computations and

classifications of vargas.

Apart form it, there are also some very

good messages/articles in the archive section of this

group, sent by Goranga Das, Visti Larsen and Narasimhrao.

I think,

Monospace">astroamerica.com is one of the

biggest online store having all famous vedic astrology

titles.

Regards

M.IMRAN

I have a friendly protest.

The chapter on divisional charts, like you say, covers the computations and

classifications and only gives basic guidelines rather a lot of analysis. But

divisional charts are used throughout the rest of the book and one can see

several examples of analysis. So your characterization is a little unfair.

With warm regards,

Dear Imran bhai,

Mogambo khush hua. :-)

Seriously, criticism is most welcome. Usually, I only listen when

people are making comments on my book here and don't speak.

I responded only because it is you and because you seemed to be

commenting on a single chapter rather than the entire book.

My second book is on Tithi Pravesha (lunar return charts - the lunar

counterpart of Tajaka varshaphal). Pt. Sanjay Rath and I are co-

authoring it. Very soon, I will leave all the lists to concentrate

on it (like I did in May-June 2000, to write my first book). I got a

lot of feedback from people who read my first book and I will be

using the feedback in the second book.

May Jupiter's light shine on us,

Narasimha

~ Om Namah Shivaya ~

Respected Gurudeva Shri PVR Ji,

R u writing any more books or planning to write more

books. I found your language, the style of explaining

very lucid and clear. Also there are exercises, which

help to understand the concept and re-check our

understanding. It's written in a very scientific way,

the way I have studied my text books in engineering,

so I find it easy to go through your books.

Kind regards,

Neeraj Gupta
