Guest guest
Satyam Bruyat Priyam Bruyat Dear Learned Members, Page 320 of COVA reads "Malefic in eight house have subhargaala on sixth house of enemies. Thus malefic in eight house cause dushmaran yoga (bad death) and show the parakrama bala (courage/strength) of the enemy" 8th house aragala on 6th is a direct aragala. Usually benefic would give shubha aragala and malefic would give papargala. Is it reverse in case of 8th house argala on 6th? I shall appreciate if you some one can kindly explain. Kind regards Ramesh

Well on P.27, its written that the malefics in 3rd house from the karya bhava or karaka cause subhargala and that it is an exception to the rule. Also malefics are considered more powerful in 6th/8th/12th house(in materialistic dimensions) to get the work done, although they may still be involved in papargalas (to get the work done). Regards. Guest guest
Satyam Bruyat Priyam Bruyat Dear RMK, Thank you for your reference. I had overlooked the exception! About the second para, in this case a malefic in 8th house works to native's disadvantage since it helps the enemies of the native. Please correct me if I am wrong.
