Guest guest
Dear Shiv Chadha, >No Dhira Krsna! Subhadra is not that one. She was daughter of one of >Krsna's uncle. Do you know the name of this uncle? Where would this be mentioned? I haven't seen any reference about this anywhere, can you point me to some quotes? Having worshipped Subhadra for a long time now, I all the time have been with this conception that she was Yogamaya taking birth from Yashoda, but I think she wants to show me now who she really is. Of course, I believe she is indeed Yogamaya, but then took birth again after some time? Guest guest
om namo näräyaëäya|Dear Raji, As per Prashna Margam and other ancient classics in Jyotish, The adhidevatha for Rahu is Sarpa. So you have to perform the Shantis for Sarpa to get rid of Sarpa Dosha. Also I read in some other Keraleeya Books,if Rahu is placed in Vrishabha and Tula Rasi ,then Godes Durga Devi can be worshipped to reduce the malefic effects of Rahu but not for Sarpa Dosham.Similarly, you can worship Kaaleeya Mardana Sri Krishna to reduce the malefic effects of Rahu. I hope this helps you. With Sri Hari Vaayu Naama Smarana, Ramadas Rao. Guest guest
Hi, So it is clear now that Subhadra took birth later from Vasudeva and Devaki, or his brother. Guest guest
Dear Dhira Krishna, Just a thought for your further contemplation: The Skanda Purana, in its long treatise on the origin and nature of the Jagannath temple at Puri, extols Subhadra as the adya shakti. Whether Narayan's shakti is manifested as spouse or sister or aunt, is but a pluralistic expression of the nature of the relationship between purusha and prakriti. The stavas in the SP, paying obeseiance to Subhadra, could well have been shlokas from the devi mahatmya...the language and the intonation are the same. In that sense, yes, she is Yogamaya. Another name for Yogamaya is Vishnumaya, that is the adi shakti which arose from the sleeping Narayana's divine body, thereby rousing him from his nidra, or his somnambulant state between pralaya and srishti. Subhadra is an incarnation of this adi shakti. From Devaki Kirtiman, Sushen, Udau, Bhadrasen, Rijudas and Bhadradev sons born were killed by Kansa. Krsna was 8th son, 7th Balbhadra was shifted to Rohini's womb by Yogmaya and so called Sankarshan too. So Devaki had no daughter too. Guest guest
Dear Shiva, I was referinfg to the story of recital of Krishna leela by Rohini, which runs like this and is in connection with Jagganath at Puri. "Once in Dwarka, Lord Krishna's eight queens requested mother Rohini to narrate the divine episodes of Lord Krishna with the Gopis while he was in Vraj. For a while Rohini dithered. Finally, after a lot of insistence she relented. However, considering it unbecoming of Subhadra to hear such episodes (Leela), she sent her to guard the palace doorway. Yet the Vrajkatha soon absorbed Subhadra. Soon, Lord Shri Krishna and Balaram arrived at the doorway. With arms wide apart, she stood between the two, preventing them from entering. However, from where they stood, Rohini's katha soon engrossed them all! Just then sage Narad arrived. Seeing the siblings standing together like murtis, he humbly prayed, "May the three of you grant darshan in this manner forever." The Lord granted the boon. And the three eternally reside in the Jagannath Mandir in Puri." Does this story have no base? Chandrashekhar. Krsna was 8th son, 7th Balbhadra was shifted to Rohini's womb by Yogmaya and so called Sankarshan too. So Devaki had no daughter too. Vasudev's other wives Madira, Vaishali had only sons but no daughter. Pauravi's children are not named. Reference is Vishnu Puran Ch 15, part 4. It seems you have writtne the mail little aggressively and any Astrologer who becomes so aggressive is not good for his interpretation and predictions. Please read Prashna Margam for the qualities of a good Jyotisha. Please cool down. With Sri Hari Vaayu Naama Smarana, Ramadas Rao. Immediately after telling Kansa that one who will kill him has taken birth and then vanished. Why are you trying to confuse things here. Can't you differentiate between Subhadra and incarnation of Deity Durga? Read Bhagvat Purana or relevant reference..
