[vedic astrology] DreamsEsteemed and revered people,I had 2 dreams so far, that

I'm interested in knowing about. i) This dream occured 3 yrs ago, I dreamt of a

divine being who had a pleasant Orange skin (as opposed to a fiery Orange) and

was tall, young, handsome, serene and clad in a light-blue dhoti who walked

very serenely towards me with a kind gesture of a father and walked away after

a little kiss on the forehead.ii) 2 days ago, a very, very short dream of a

Sanyasi with a very handsome countenance, middle-aged, clad in off-white and

having a shaven head, with the off-white cloth draped around the head, who

looked at me and said something like, "I will definitely make you live very

well" (not sure of exactly what he said, it may even be something like "I will

definitely save you"). The only parts I remember is the word "definite", the

Sanyasi himself and the pleasant note of the dream. I remembered it was a dream

in the dream itself, so I went to narrate my dream to someone else regarding how

pleasant it had been. But it is said, a very large portion of our dreams are mere

reflections of our deepest yearnings and don't really call-for anything along

spirituality line. But also it is stated, some dreams are special. Are these

dreams just superflous reflections on some thoughts from deep-psyche or are

true blessings? Being a normal person who is only somewhat spiritual, I wonder

what category the dreams belong to... Only thing that makes me give weightage

is the extremely realistic, vivid persona of both the divine-being as well as

the Sanyasi in my dreams, whose faces are CRYSTAL CLEAR and vivid in the

mind..., so I'm tempted to ask. Is there a way to tell, as just like anyone, I

would be happy to know if these are not merely one of those boiled out of the

stew of thoughts from the deep psyche....ThanksArchives:

Dear Chandrashekar ji,

Please elaborate... What information can be seen in Brihat Samhita? I

searched for a while after the first dream of 3 years ago, and asked

many people if anyone in mythology has a pleasant Orange complexion

(like dawn/dusk) clad in light-blue dhoti, tall and young, but noone

knows. Does Brihat Samhita talk about mythological personalities (if

any fits the description, or it could just be plain, albeit strange

dream). I don't own Brihat Samhita, but what is it used for? Also do

Sanyasis in Hinduism also wear off-white robe? (I've only heard of

Saffron/Orange robes...)

Thanks,

Jayashree

PS: I'm sorry if my questions offend any other member who might be

skeptical of dreams, but I'm posting my questions to satisfy my

curiosity.

Dear Jayashree,

I had gone through your chart and as per that your first dream might

have appeared after April 10th of 2000.At that time you were running

Budha Dasa-Shani's Antara and Rahu's Pratyantara.Budha is your 5th

and 8th lord placed in 9th with 7th lord Surya.Budha is in Vishakha

Nakshatra ruled by Guru who is in 10th along with Shukra, your

Yogakaraka who is also in the nakshatra of Vishakha ruled by

Guru.Shani ® in Rohini in 4th and Rahu is in Sravana in 12th in

Makara. Both these Nakshatra lord is Chandra who is in 2nd house in

Meena Rasi who is getting the aspect of his sign dispositor Guru. Now

Moksha Karaka Ketu is placed in Guru's exaltation sign of Karka Rasi

and all these Chandra and Ketu are in trine to Guru and Shukra in

Vrischika. So all these planets are connected with Chandra and

Guru.So this indicates you got a very saintly dream and it foretalls

you that a saintly person will help you in this life who was

connected to you from previous life. The reason is Shani (V) is

getting aspect of Guru who is Vargothama.

The 2nd dream appeared in Ketu-Kuja- Budha period.Kuja is in Lagna

aspected by Dhani (V) and aspects him also.Kuja and Ketu aspect by

Rasi drishti.Budha is in Vishakha and is the lord of 8th,the house

of occult which is the Uccha Sthana of Budha. Also A5 is in Kumbha

and at the moment Guru in transit aspects this A5 whihc is Mantra

Pada.So according to me during next 15 to 20 days, you will be able

to meet a saintly person and may give you a Mantra for your problems

in your life. The person may be a Devi Upasaka especially Kali

Upasaka. The reason is Ketu is in trine with Chandra and both are in

the Nakshatras ruled by Shani (V) and this inturn is aspected by

Vargothama Guru.

I hope this helps you.

Dear Shri Ramadas ji,

I have to tell you, that I'm amazed and completely touched with what

you have stated, this despite being the fact that this is not even a

private email conversation. To state correctly, I have to tell the

immediate thoughts I had after I read your mail - skeptical - because

I have to grow a lot more emotionally before true spirituality can

set in. (I have all attributes of frustration, anger, extremely

anxiety prone nature, etc..).....

BUT here is what that makes me JUMP UP. This happened exactly 1 1/2

months ago, around August 22nd, 2003 --- my parents-in-laws have

visited us and currently staying with us. On that day, (August 22nd),

my mother-in-law spoke to my sister-in-law (my husband's sister) over

the phone. My sister-in-law visits a lady who is supposedly a GREAT

devotee of Goddess Kamakshi, once in 2 years. My sister-in-law Radha

had just visited her (the Kamakshi devotee) the previous day (August

21st) and had inquired all about us, (herself and her family, my

parents-in-laws, me, my husband Ravi and our son and then my brother-

in-law's family). She told over phone and my mother-in-law came to

tell me this excitedly after the phone conversation - that the lady

paused for a little longer when she inquired about me and gave an

extremely excellent prediction - I'm sorry if this is not the right

place to state so, but do not want to omit it nevertheless. Also, she

gave me (through Radha, my sister-in-law), a MANTRA to recite - the

first sloka of Sri Narayana Hridayam, the 3rd sloka of Sri Lakshmi

Hridayam and to complete it again with the 1st sloka of Sri Narayana

Hridayam and to sip a spoonful of water after reciting this. I'm

reciting it for the past 1 1/2 months each day in the morning. Just

as the way you had stated, she is indeed a GREAT devotee of Goddess

Kamakshi, and whenever people visit her with queries, she asks only

for the Gothram and name, nakshatra, meditates upon the goddess and

spontaneously predicts something.

I started to wonder who is it saintly and also a Devi worshipper that

will give me a mantra in such a short time as 15 days from now, but

then, I suddenly remembered this incident and the MANTRA I'm reciting

each day for past 1 1/2 months.... This is truly AMAZING! Now I see

these strange dreams indeed do have a MEANING!

I have an extremely anxiety prone personality, I'm just totally

incapable of handling anything tough in life -- fortunately god has

given me everything good so far, still I'm concerned to hell about

unemployment that constantly plagues my mind with worries -- I had a

strange, psychological feeling the day I heard through my mother-in-

law about this lady and the mantra she gave me, but then due to my

stated anxiety-proneness, I still WORRY. Now I feel, it is indeed

god's work that I had to ask you about the dreams, (though I felt

completely ridiculous to have posted such a question about dreams

when I first posted it), which is why I'm hearing clarification now

that the MANTRA indeed IS DIVINE!

Dear Ramadas ji, I feel all this is indeed a little strange.... And,

your knowledge and patience indeed touches me.. I'm sorry to have

made/making a million postings worrying about my employment, but as

you can see, I'm somewhat tied down by anxiety always, for the past 2

1/2 years. I'll make sure I NEVER MAKE ANOTHER POSTING WORRYING OVER

JOB :), I'LL TAKE COMPLETE FAITH IN THE MANTRA.

Thankyou a million.

With warmest regards,

Jayashree

Dear Jayashree,

Brihat Samhita is on the part known as Samhita and written by Varahamihira. It

deals with various factors such as Shakunas, Lakshanas,Rainfall , predictions

from physical Characterstics, Vastu. etc.BY the way Sanyasis do not wear white

robes, but Sants can.

For your quick reference I am attaching a doc on dreams containing on info from

K.M.Rao and Ramdas Rao.Hope this helps.

[vedic astrology] Re: DreamsDear Chandrashekar ji,Please elaborate... What

information can be seen in Brihat Samhita? I searched for a while after the

first dream of 3 years ago, and asked many people if anyone in mythology has a

pleasant Orange complexion (like dawn/dusk) clad in light-blue dhoti, tall and

young, but noone knows. Does Brihat Samhita talk about mythological

personalities (if any fits the description, or it could just be plain, albeit

strange dream). I don't own Brihat Samhita, but what is it used for? Also do

Sanyasis in Hinduism also wear off-white robe? (I've only heard of

Saffron/Orange robes...)Thanks,JayashreePS: I'm sorry if my questions offend

Dear Shri Ramadas ji,I have to tell you, that I'm amazed and completely touched

with what you have stated, this despite being the fact that this is not even a

private email conversation. To state correctly, I have to tell the immediate

thoughts I had after I read your mail - skeptical - because I have to grow a

lot more emotionally before true spirituality can set in. (I have all

attributes of frustration, anger, extremely anxiety prone nature,

etc..).....BUT here is what that makes me JUMP UP. This happened exactly 1 1/2

months ago, around August 22nd, 2003 --- my parents-in-laws have visited us and

currently staying with us. On that day, (August 22nd), my mother-in-law spoke to

my sister-in-law (my husband's sister) over the phone. My sister-in-law visits a

lady who is supposedly a GREAT devotee of Goddess Kamakshi,

once in 2 years. My sister-in-law Radha had just visited her (the Kamakshi

devotee) the previous day (August 21st) and had inquired all about us, (herself

and her family, my parents-in-laws, me, my husband Ravi and our son and then my

brother-in-law's family). She told over phone and my mother-in-law came to tell

me this excitedly after the phone conversation - that the lady paused for a

little longer when she inquired about me and gave an extremely excellent

prediction - I'm sorry if this is not the right place to state so, but do not

want to omit it nevertheless. Also, she gave me (through Radha, my

sister-in-law), a MANTRA to recite - the first sloka of Sri Narayana Hridayam,

the 3rd sloka of Sri Lakshmi Hridayam and to complete it again with the 1st

sloka of Sri Narayana Hridayam and to sip a spoonful of water after reciting

this. I'm reciting it for the past 1 1/2 months each day in the morning. Just

as the way you had

stated, she is indeed a GREAT devotee of Goddess Kamakshi, and whenever people

visit her with queries, she asks only for the Gothram and name, nakshatra,

meditates upon the goddess and spontaneously predicts something. I started to

wonder who is it saintly and also a Devi worshipper that will give me a mantra

in such a short time as 15 days from now, but then, I suddenly remembered this

incident and the MANTRA I'm reciting each day for past 1 1/2 months.... This is

truly AMAZING! Now I see these strange dreams indeed do have a MEANING! I have

an extremely anxiety prone personality, I'm just totally incapable of handling

anything tough in life -- fortunately god has given me everything good so far,

still I'm concerned to hell about unemployment that constantly plagues my mind

with worries -- I had a strange, psychological feeling the day I heard through

my mother-in-law about this lady and the mantra she gave me, but

then due to my stated anxiety-proneness, I still WORRY. Now I feel, it is indeed

god's work that I had to ask you about the dreams, (though I felt completely

ridiculous to have posted such a question about dreams when I first posted it),

which is why I'm hearing clarification now that the MANTRA indeed IS DIVINE!Dear

Ramadas ji, I feel all this is indeed a little strange.... And, your knowledge

and patience indeed touches me.. I'm sorry to have made/making a million

postings worrying about my employment, but as you can see, I'm somewhat tied

down by anxiety always, for the past 2 1/2 years. I'll make sure I NEVER MAKE

ANOTHER POSTING WORRYING OVER JOB :), I'LL TAKE COMPLETE FAITH IN THE

MANTRA.Thankyou a million.With warmest regards,Jayashree--- In

2) Which planet causes Diabetes and what combination.

3)If planet debilited in rasi but exalted in Navamsa what happens.

4)According Pandit Gopes Kr Ohja Sani in 0 degrees --- to 6degrees is good in

Capricorn why is this. is 0 degrees not bad.

Dear Anantji,

You are most welcome. If you are happy, then I am also very

happy.Actually I am thinking of coming to India on vacation in

January at least to attend a day or 2 SJC's Astrological

conference.Till now our next year's leave programs are not anounced

and when the list comes I will try to make some arrangements ( Iam

sure as My Mother Bhuvaneshwari always with me )to come in

January. After visiting Puri,I wanted come down to Tirupaty which I

wanted to visit last June-July and was not possible. Then come to

Chennai.Anyhow I bow myself to Lord Krishna and Mother Bhuvaneshwari

who help me in every inch to inch work.

With Sri Bhuvaneshwari Nama Smarana,

Ramadas Rao.

Dear Chandrashekar ji,

Thanks for the wonderful document on dreams you had given. I do some

questions, but not really having the mind-set to pursue asking them.

I will ask them little later.

Thanks again,

Jayashree

Dear Kaimal ji,

Thankyou for the wonderful link. It has a lot of information and

really in-depth. Kaimalji, I did not get any recurrent dreams so far,

these 2 were isolated and did not repeat. But I did get quite a lot

of dreams while during Ketu/Moon, a lot of them having water as the

theme, as in Ocean, sometimes peaceful, but some times turbulent

later calming down, and also there were dreams of mansions with

ghosts and dead-bodies in them, with whom I dwelt! :-), but they were

not scary. The themes were similar but they were not the same dreams -

I guess it was some working of Ketu/Moon period.

With best regards,

Jayashree
