Dear Sanjay,

I was asking about the Venus-Sun and not Rahu-Sun. During Sun antra, will the

effects be different from Venus antra?

Sateesh.

Dear Sateesh,

How can one who does not have a body be burnt? What is being burnt? So is the

Sun burning Rahu or is the rahu extinguishuing the Sun flame...what do you

think is happening?

The next question will be - given the fact that the sun is a functional malefic

for Virgo Lagna is this not a good thing to happen for the native?

During Rahu dasa, the antardasa of the lords of dusthana is normally good for

Virgo and Pisces lagnas.

Dear Sanjay and Members,

I finish my Rahu-Venus right at the end of 2003, and will enter Rahu-Sun.

What will be the difference, given one is the combust planet, and the other is

the combustor? But both placed in same part of the chart.

Thanks - Sateesh.

Dear Sanjay,

I see the confusion -

>>What will be the difference, given one is the combust planet, and the other is

the combustor? But both placed in same part of the chart.<<

Here, I was referring to Venus (combust planet) and Sun (combustor) - not to Rahu and Sun.

As Sun and Venus are both very close together in my chart, and I am currently in

Rahu-Venus, my question was - will Rahu-Sun antra be any different to

Rahu-Venus? If so - how?

Thanks - Sateesh.

Dear Sanjay,

Ah - now I understand all the factors better. Thank you. It is great to know

that the Sun antra will be improved over the Venus antra, when I was thinking

they would be similar (due both placed at same degree/house).

In fact, historically thinking in the late 1980s - Mars-Sun antra was far better

than Mars-Venus antra also.

Now your views on Sun being trine to both UL and to MD Lord Rahu has me intrigued.

I guess we must let Jupiter first TR to Leo/12th - oh, 7th Lord moving to Sign

lorded by Sun! Of course.

Much appreicative - Sateesh.

Dear Sateesh

Of course. This is going to be one great period as I mentioned it is the lord of

the 12th and is exalted in the 8th house generating a yoga for Virgo lagna. Its

trines to the 6th lord Rahu is good for personal life. If you notice, it is

poised in trines to the Upapada..explosive and sudden marriage is indicated.

Now we need the period to begin and transit Jup in Leo will help more.

|| Jaya Jagannath ||Dear Gurudev,

You said "During Rahu dasa, the antardasa of the lords of dusthana is normally

good for Virgo and Pisces lagnas"

What is the rational behind this?

For Virgo Lagna, the lords of the Dusthanas are Mars/ Ketu- 3rd; Saturn/ Rahu-

6th; Mars - 8th; Sun- 12th; and for pisces laga the dusthana lords are Venus-

3rd; Sun- 6th; Venus- 8th; Saturn- Rahu- 12th

If you say that Rahu Dasa and the antar of the dusthanas would be good for

these two lagnas, one reason can be that they constitute a kind of vipareeta

yoga. Hower for that matter, why not take the signs from which Rahu is the 3rd

and 8th lord too namely Sagittarius and Cancer?
