Dear Sunil,

10.0pt;font-family:Arial;color:navy">

With time everyone learns¡Ä All depends on whether one wishes to!

10.0pt;font-family:Arial;color:navy">

10.0pt;font-family:Arial;color:navy">We can¡Çt see any constellation or planets

in the morning as they are obscured by the brightness of Sun. So must wait for

the Sun to set. Now when Sun sets?

Sun sets when it is in the 7th from the Lagna. Thus watchout

for the movement of the Lagna. When the Lagna is in the 7th from the

Sun, it is Twilight or setting Sun and after sometime, darkness sets in and the

constellation and the planets becomes visible. Just look out for the planets

based on the houses from the Lagna at that point of time. If a planet is near

the Lagna in the visible half, then you can spot them in the eastern sky and if

it is near the 7th from Lagna, you can spot them on the western sky

and it is in between Lagna and the 7th, i.e., the 10th

(Visible half), it would be above your head.

10.0pt;font-family:Arial;color:navy">

10.0pt;font-family:Arial;color:navy">Now you know when to spot Mars on the Sky

now! It will be visible above the horizon in eastern sky after the Sunset.

However you can see Moon quite late as Moon is in the 10th house

from Sun and only at/ after the Midnite you can spot Moon.

10.0pt;font-family:Arial;color:navy">

10.0pt;font-family:Arial;color:navy">Just remember that like constellations,

each planet rise on the sky, the moment when Lagna transits that point. Whether

we can see it or not is dependent on whether or not Sun is above the horizon.

Dear

Sarajitji,

Thank you

for your kind letter. Sorry for the delayed reply have been off cyberspace

offlate.

I am

sorry but it is very tough for me to see the spot planets in the sky, I am

just new to all this.

I presume

there is a simpler way hence you must have mentioned it.

Best

wishes,

Sunil

Dear Sunil,

You are most welcome and you are free to put your queries. It is

important to understand Gola shastra (spherical astronomy) to have a

deeper understanding of Jyotisha. Any take on the question I posed.

How

to determine, when to spot a planet and where on the sky!

Thank you for the wishes

Sarajit
