Guest guest
Hello, A basic question about retrograde planets. Is it too simplistic to say that if a planet is retrograde, the significations was the opposite of what it would normally be? I understand that the essential nature of the Graha itself is the same, but how about the results? I've read two explanations, one being that the results are of the same sort, but in a diminished form; the second explanation was that the results are diametrically opposite to the normal results. Which is true? Thanks, Lata
Guest guest
Our teacher stresses that Retrograde planets are not weak, but just the opposite, they are stronger due to being retrograde. H R S Iyer backs this proposal up. This is due to the Graha being CLOSER to the earth, and BRIGHTER in the sky. This means they have more power to do good or bad, depending on the chart. This doesn't mean that they don't also have some form of akward or different meaning due to being retrograde...and this is somewhat of a hot topic in that there are definately different opinions.
