Dear Friends......

Samarth..a very good lead......

Perhaps you can also share your views on how to ascertain if a house

is strong.

Many a times we have heard people saying my 5th house is stronger

than my 7th or so n so......

How do we judge which is the stronger house?

Is it by ashtavarga, natural friendship or enmity between the lord

and the graha placed in that house, combustion or the shadbala

strength of the lord or the graha placed in that house? Which is the

deciding factor? Please drop in your views.

Yes Sani in the 5th from moon does cause stomach problems. I think it

really does not depend if the ascendant or moon is stronger. The

possibility of this happening is there.Sani in 9th - natives be

careful of what you eat when you are overseas or away to a different

state or country on Holidays. If the timing isn't right you may end

up having to seek medical attention for food poisoning overseas.

Sani in 5th from moom...stomach issues...more so if the natal 6th

house also has malefic planets or the aspect of many planets.Must be

definitely careful about the food intake and type of food taken.

For digestion problems like this...The is a very good rememdy.

In South India, there is a very well known temple called the

Shankaran Temple founded and built by the great King Ugrapandiyan.I

think that he was also the grandfather of the great Goddess

Meenakshi. Devi Meenakshi appeared as a small child when the Putra

Kameshti Yagya was conducted by his son Malaywadya Pandiya as he and

his queen did not have any children.

Shankaran temple's main deity is a very special form of the Lords

Shiva and Vishnu combined in equal known as the great Sri HariHaran.

In this temple there is a very special pit.In this pit there is a

never ending supply of sand which itself is the prasadam of the

temple. It smells and feels exactly like sandal wood.I have this at

home.Natives suffering from very bad acute indigestion problems or

bad stomach pain can dab some of this sand paste around their belly

button daily after food.It is known to relieve all stomach problems.

This pit was where the vigraha of the mula deity was kept enclosed

and guarded for many years by a huge snake.

This pit was discovered by one of the guards of the valiant king the

Great Ugra Pandiyan of Madurai. The guard was intrigued by the

uniqueness and the fragrance of the forest which housed this pit.

After many days he cld not tolerate his curiousity and cleared the

forest to find this pit.He fought with the huge snake and killed it

by cutting off its tail.Upon searching furthur he found the vigraha.

The king was informed and he was amazed and built a grand temple.

Whilst the guard founded the pit and fought with the snake, one of

the king's pet elephants on the palace started going beserk. After a

while the elephant fell unto the ground and turned its four limbs

towards the sky, while shedding tears. The astounded king was

confused about the behaviour of his elephant, when one of his

messengers ran in to inform him that one of his palace guards had

found an amazing vigraha(statue) enclosed in a snake pit. At once the

elephant got up and became its calm self once again.

The great king immediately set forth along with this elephant to the

spot where ht pit was. The elephant immediately went up to the pit

and broke it down furthur once it got there. He stroked the statue

with his trunk cried again.

Upon furthur enquiry with many muni and learned people this was what

the king found out about the forest and the pit in which the vigraha

was found.

This forest was where Goddess Parvati along with many sages, heavenly

maidens and celestial beings performed a penance to see the form of

Hariharan in the form of a tree. In tamil this tree is known as the

Punnai tree.Goddess had approached Lord Shiva with the desire to see

the complete form of protection and creation in one(the combination

of Lords Shiva and Sriman Narayana). Lord told her that this form

will only be revealed to beings who wholeheartedly meditate and do a

penance. And that of all living creatures on earth, that of a tree

esp the Punnai tree is the most apt for meditating the heavenly Lords

to see them in the form of Sri HariHaran.

Goddess left to meditate and many munis , divinely beings too came

along with her and lived as birds, cows and flowers and fruits in

that special forest and meditated on the Lords. In due course of time

both Lords pleased by the deep devotion revealed themselves in the

Form of Hariharan to Devi Parvati and the heavenly beings.

As a result, this form of the lords became enshrined as a diety and a

huge pit grow around it to protect the Lord. This was where the guard

stumbled acorss many years later.

What amazed the King most were two facts. Firstly the fact that Lord

can choose to show himself through anybody not only the rich or the

well learned but even through a simple guard and also through other

forms apart from humans.Secondly the very fact that forces of

creation and destruction occur together in this world.

Any bodily element keeps growing only to be destroyed. Any element

which disintegrates towards destruction.......only to be created once

again. This is the tattwa of the world we live in. Plants,

flowers, man, mammals, insects all fall into this category.

Hearing this story does not make our seemingly immense problems

appear so small...:)

Though this story has nothing to do with the technicalities of

Jyothish,I thought that may of you folks would like to read it.

Also please do tell this story to your childre or small cousins or

nieces/nephews.I'll sure they'll love it.

All temple going folks out here....you must visit Shankaran Temple

once in your lifetime.....and remember to take your prasadam. Ypu

guys must see for yourself then you'll know....:)

Sam also see if you can jot points about what health probs will be

caused by Lord Sani's different placement..:).....I'll be looking

forward to it..

Warmly "moo"..
