Guest guest
Namaste Narasimha I really don't know the authenticity of the birth data. If indeed he was born in Ohio, I think the lagna would change. For all we know birth time could have been adjusted or set to match his personality using the wrong coordinates, but Virgo lagna looks reasonable after reading your analysis. - Narasimha P.V.R. (Re: A challenge to Vedic astrology) Namaste Ravi, > Well this chart belongs to the serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer from Milwaukee > Oh Yeah thanks Vikrant your email actually triggered by memory by > mentioning that the latitude and longitude were of Milwaukee, WI. Out of curiosity, I went to www.biography.com and looked up Jeffrey Dahmer's biography. It says "Dahmer was born and raised in Bath Township, Ohio, a middle-class suburb of Akron." You say that the original co-ordinates given by Ralf are of Milwaukee. Bath and Akron are reasonably far from Milwaukee. This makes me wonder. Congratulations to Satya and me aside (thanks BTW), is the birthdata correct in the first place? What is the source of the birthdata? Correct readings do not necessarily confirm the accuracy of the birthdata or the methods used. It depends on the depth and elaborateness of the readings given. Ralf mentioned that this chart belonged to a "famous/infamous" person. I don't know about others, but, honestly speaking, *I* latched onto that "infamous" word. Unless this guy was really infamous, Ralf was unlikely to have mentioned it specifically. So I was kind of expecting an infamous person. When you think of infamous people, there are just a handful of possibilities. The rasi chart made good sense and all the afflictions to Venus in several charts made the guess easy (which was not too difficult to start with, due to the limited number of possibilities to consider). Thus, rationally speaking, the birthdata need not be accurate because a reading was correct. There may be a few other combinations of lagna in divisional charts, for which I would've probably guessed the same thing. Our methods are not too perfect. Thus, we should not get carried away by a few readings. Had I timed some important events accurately, it's a different story. That would've kind of proved the birthdata. I wonder where Ralf got the data from. If it is from a source like Lois Rodden, what reliability rating did the birthdata get?
