Saturn:sade sathi doubts

Dear learned members,

I have some doubts concerning sade sathi. My Lagna is Tula, with Venus as

Lagnadhipathi. I understand that for natives with Tula Lagna, Saturn is a

Yogakaraka( doing no harm). I am currently running sade sathi period and that

will last till Sep,2004. Though Saturn is a Yogakaraka and is in a state of

Vargottama in my chart, I feel I am still being troubled( for past 6 and half

years) due to sade sathi. This is delaying and frustrating my efforts in

settling for a good job and also in getting married.That apart my real worry is

Saturn will move into my 10th house after the sadesathi phase and this might

damage my already damaged career. It might be of interest for you to note that

the period from 1982 -2000 was the period of Rahu Mahadasa and Rahu is the

AtmaKaraka in my chart. True to this fact, my career was very badly damaged

during this phase. Adding to the tales of woes is another bad placement of 10th

lord Moon in the 8th house.

I was wondering if my chart indicates anything good vis-a-vis my career.I am

currently in the US, struggling to make a career.

In view of above facts, my Question is will Saturn do any good for me Or will I

invite further trouble from Saturn for life.I am attaching a jhd file with my

horoscope.

Any input from learned members in clarifying my doubts is highly appreciated.

Latitude: 16.46 North.

Dear Srinath,

Perhaps you should look at Transit Saturn being in 2nd from natal Saturn

aspecting natal Ketu in 10th house and transit Jupiter being posited in 9th,

10th and now 11th house of your natal chart.Add to this the fact that Natal

Jupiter is in 6/8 with natal Saturn and lord of 3rd and 6th for your chart.Your

Jupiter Mahadasha also is operative.Also understand what is meant by yogakaraka.

It means a planet capable of causing yoga in his Dasha- Antardashas, depending

on the position he is in. No doubt your Saturn is very strong and a benefic for

Tula. He would give you results of his 9th house placement when he gains more

than 20 degrees as being Vridha by nature his results are obtained between 20

to 30 degrees , generally. If you willobserve movement of saturn during last 3

years , you will observe that Saturn went through 3 Rasis in about 3 years and

not 6and 1/2, the duration for which you are facing troubles. So probably,

Sadesati is not the reason for your long drawn troubles.
