Guest guest
Dear people, I do Satya Narayan Puja regularly on Poornima, however so far it has been extremely simple - such as making a few dishes, reciting some slokas and reading katha. But now, I'm interested in doing this Puja in a more appropriate way - such as using Kalasha, coconuts, using the 9 types of dhanya, worshipping nava-grahas, Ashtadikpaalakas, etc. When I see it online, I see that I'm not able to get many ingredients indicated, such as Areca nuts, beetal leaves, etc for worship. Also, a web-site I referred, said, I have to place a 'Prathama' of Satya-narayan on a kalash and do abhishek with Panchamritha on it. If any of you follow it using kalash, praying to navagraha, etc. please let me how to follow the same, but without having means to get Areca nuts, Beetal leaves, etc. Also please indicate any new cloth needed, and what if using Silk, is it OK to use the same each time? Thank you very much, Jayashree
