Another amazing trick of the brain

It's a good illustration of the low level of consciousness applied habitually to

most tasks. '6' is like a circle in the opposite direction of rotation to the

foot. The same works with trying to circle the arms in opposite directions

(stand up to do that). If you attend carefully you can override the habitual

brain function. After some practice it would become easy.

Kind regards

Gordon

... While sitting at the computer, take your right foot and make small

clockwise circles in the air. Now at the same time, take your right hand and

draw a 6 in the air. Your foot will go counterclockwise automatically!

~ Om Namah Shivaya ~

Hi,

Will just give you a brief explanation about this. Our

mind is divided into two parts left and right. When

one is rotating the right leg in clockwise direction,

right side of mind is actively engaged in that

activity. So when you try to make six with right hand

(opposite of clockwise direction), you loose the

control.

Try making six with left hand, and you can easily do

it.

Also, you can move your left part (leg or hand) and

right part (leg or hand) in different directions, you

can do it easily.

It's simple a biology, nothing else, but still a good

observation.

cheers.

Namaskaar!

The solution is as follows:-Try drawing the number '6' from the other

end(anti-clockwise) instead of the usual way(clock-wise).This way both the foot

and the hand are moving in the same direction, and finishes the task.
