Guest guest
Respected Sudarshanji, I have a query here with respect to Rahu being in the 7th to AL. You have quoted & I have read the same that "Rahu in 7th from AL gives spirituality of highest order !". Since Rahu is in 7th from AL, AL itself has mokshakaraka Ketu, meaning that the native is perceived or the maya around him is spirituality. So since Rahu is in 7th & in opposition to AL, how can it give spirituality ? I hope you do understand my confusion here & guide me accordingly ! I have the above combination with Rahu in 7th in Virgo & Ketu in AL in Pisces in my horoscope ! Kind Regards, Ravish vedic astrology, Sudharsan Srinivasan <sudhar108> wrote: > Hare Rama Krishna > > dear Jai, > > Any dasa is to be judged from three aspects 1) Sun -Maha Dasa 2) Moon- Antara Dasa 3) Lagna - Pratyantara Dasa.Use these as points of reference as you would the lagna and judge the results .This was a family secret of Sanjayji that he very generously gave to the Jyotish world. This is a great rule and gives remarkable results. This can also be applied toward divisional charts. An alternative is to examine the pratyantara dasa w.r.to AL. > In the case of Rahu when he is in the 7th(opposition) to AL he gives spirituality of a very high order. In practice i've mostly seen Rahu's placement from lagna more important while trying to determine whether it's good or bad, but still I am wondering about what i just asked. Sorry the question is not very clear, but i'm just thinking in that general direction. Guest guest
Dear Ravish, Please call me Sudharsan.Any planet when placed in the 7th to AL is the opposition to the image.Rahu who loves the trappings of the material world starts opposing the very attributes that he stands for. Now coming to the destruction of the spiritual image created by Ketu's presence in AL-Rahu destroys the image part. This destruction by Rahu gives rise to true spirituality. In other words there is no doubt that in reality this native is spiritual because even the so called image of a possible "false saint" is destroyed. The above are my thoughts and hope they help you. Guest guest
Om Namo Narayanaya, Dear Anna, Dear Zoran, Great to see you here- when needed the most! Indeed! Thanks.. Would you please explain and clarify what you wrote" Rahu being karak for Bhoga Marga or relative path when placed in 7th /12th from AL means that the path of BHoga will be lost " Please don't assume automatic understanding. What and how will be lost? BHoga marga means the path of enjoyment, enjonment in what? in ordinary desires of mind.. Rahu tends to enjoy in sensory experience.. So those enjoyments will be lost or rejected (if other indications agree), and a person will have to turn towards spiritual phase of life.. How it may be lost? This depends on the overall structure of the chart.. One may experience some difficulty which would turn him/her to mediate or pray...e.g.. It is really individual... If Rahu is AK, you say that the path will be more compulsive- as opposed to-----------------what? The nature of Rahu will speak about that. Rahu indicates sudden shock and transformation.. If Rahu is in 12th from Arudha Lagna, see what may cause a shock and final rejection of materialstic view? See the 12th lord or grahas associated with Rahu.. If that is Chandra, an early loss of mother may come.. COMPULSIVE IS INDICATED BY ATMAKARAK NOT ON MERE POSITION OF RAHU.. I thought that compulsiveness is in the very nature of Rahu, no matter where it's placed?. Correct, see the above.. Ak Rahu would give tougher lessons to native with AK Rahu, thus leading more 'effectively' to moksa. Compulsion, deception, Hard knocks. What would happen with rahu in 12th from Al and UL/my case, same, lol!/ what is to be lost in either case? In chart of person reasonably more interested in mundane than moksa affairs? Both PERSON AND A SPOUSE may become spiritual, so they cannot be totally emerged into mundane affairs.. IF they are not yet spiritual, see when the Rahu dasha comes, or See if Rahu is involved in Some other Yogas.. Generally Rahu in 12th will give spirituality particularly if Rahu dasha is on the way.. IF you think that you are not spiritual that it is wrong... So in your case, rahu in 12th has already given the effects:)/ What about your spouse? Best wishes Zoran Thanks, Zoran, for now. You have quoted & I have read the same that "Rahu in 7th from AL gives spirituality of highest order !". Since Rahu is in 7th from AL, AL itself has mokshakaraka Ketu, meaning that the native is perceived or the maya around him is spirituality. So since Rahu is in 7th & in opposition to AL, how can it give spirituality ?I hope you do understand my confusion here & guide me accordingly !I have the above combination with Rahu in 7th in Virgo & Ketu in AL in Pisces in my horoscope !Kind Regards,Ravishvedic astrology, Sudharsan Srinivasan <sudhar108> wrote: Hare Rama Krishna dear Jai, Any dasa is to be judged from three aspects 1) Sun -Maha Dasa 2) Moon- Antara Dasa 3) Lagna - Pratyantara Dasa.Use these as points of reference as you would the lagna and judge the results .This was a family secret of Sanjayji that he very generously gave to the Jyotish world. This is a great rule and gives remarkable results. This can also be applied toward divisional charts. An alternative is to examine the pratyantara dasa w.r.to AL. In the case of Rahu when he is in the 7th(opposition) to AL he gives spirituality of a very high order. The logic is that since he represents base material desires, if even he is opposed to the maya signified by AL, there can be no opposition to the native's spiritual life. Hare Krishna SudharsanJDB <jbalagop> wrote:Dear Gurus and Learned Members - Since Rahu is so much more closely associated with maya, does it make sense to judge rahu's effect more from the AL than from the actual lagna to determine if a person is going to have a happier or sadder Rahu dasha or antar? In practice i've mostly seen Rahu's placement from lagna more important while trying to determine whether it's good or bad, but still I am wondering about what i just asked. Sorry the question is not very clear, but i'm just thinking in that general direction. Any thoughts are always well appreciated. Thank you.
