6th lord is also 11th lord and is in 8th, aspected by Mars, the 12th lord,

who is in 3rd retrograde. I would say it's the left hand that's missing.

Surgery is seen by Moon in 12th with Ketu. This may make the mother

unavailable or distant in childhood and the Sun in 8th is also not good

for parental happiness, being the 9th lord. The child will survive though,

since lagna lord is strong and Moon, though debilitated, is not weak.

The missing hand will definitely cause obstructions in his education (is

the child male?). 4th lord in 9th shows that the mother will love the

child, but D-24 has an afflicted 4th house, with 4th lord in 8th with

Rahu-Ketu, 6th lord Mercury and Sun, 8th lord in parivartana with 10th

lord Venus, all aspecting on 4th house, she will not be able to help her

child much with his education.

She can pray to Ramesvara or bring the child to a temple of Ramacandra or

Shiva, and do a puja or yajna for the health and well-being of the child.

Here is the Shloka from Brihat Jataka about Kara ccheda Yoga :

DHARMESHANAU DEVAGURAU TRUTEEYE KARACCHIDASYAANNIDHANE YAYEVA.

VIDHAU KALATRE NIDHANAANVITEVAA KUJENAYUKTE YADIVASAJIVE.

Meaning Shani in 9th,Guru in 3rd or Shani in 8th and Guru in 12th indicates the

native;s hand will be cut off.Chandra in 7th,or 8th with Kuja or Guru indicates

Hands will be cut off.

Also there is another Shloka :

KARASTHITAASCHEDYADI RAHUMANDASAUMYAAh KARACCHEDAYUTOTRAJAATAH.

Meaning Rahu,Shani and Budha in 10th indicates Hands will be cut off.

I think Guru is in the Balavastha and so he is weak.With him is Badhaka

Budha.Now see Kuja is retrograde in Kumbha Rasi owned by Shani who is a mlefic

for this chart and placed in Badhaka Sthana.Also see Kuja ® is in Shatabhisha

ruled by Rahu and also Shani is in the nakshatra of Aridra ruled by Rahu again

and so 3rd house and its lord,its dispositor all are afflicted and 3rd house

indicates right hand.See in the Navamsha,Kuja remains there as he is Vargothama

indicating the deffect is permanent and is with Shani also aspecting Guru.Even

in Rasi chart Shani aspects Guru and so Guru's power become weak.Also Kuja®

in 3rd house in 2nd Drekkana indicates right arm and so the child's right arm

has no development or growth.Now see Chara AK who is Rahu and Rahu's sign

dispositor and Nakshatra dispositor ie.,Shukra and Surya both are in 8th house

from Lagna and are in watery sign of Karka Rasi ruled by Chandra who is also

debilitated in the Rasi chart.Rahu's

Nakshatra lord Surya being in Karka Rasi,the problem to the child is due to some

deffect in heart/lungs ie., due to blockage of blood circulation or impure blood

circulation to the body while the child was in the womb of the mother.

Is the time recorded correct. Mars Vargottam in 3rd with aspect of Marakesh

Mercury could indicate problem to right hand but not with Jupiter aspecting it.

Jupiter being with 1 degree, possibility of time being wrong comes to

mind.Specially with his being Lord of 4th and mother having suffered surgery,

though Mars aspect could also indicate this. But I think not.

Dear Ramadasraoji,

The second shloka also appears in Jataka Parijata. Its phala is cutting off of

hands. There is other yoga of Jupiter in 12th and Rahu in 6th agian indicating

both hands.Jupiter in 3rd and Saturn in 3rd also gives similar phala, per

Jataka Parijata.

However none of these appear to happen in the child's chart.

One thing I would like to ask is about your previous mail. It is said that a

planet in infant awastha would not help the bhava in which he is placed.

However this does not apply to his aspect. So why whould Jupiter not protect if

in 9th? In arsha system aspects are considered Rasi to Rasi and not base on

exact degrees, hence the query.
