We read this phrase some years ago, and its sense has triggered some ideas for me to ponder. As any language, it should be organized in some way. What if the words of astrological language are the astrological phenomena? These "words" might connect to each other in some way forming "sentences". We can see those "sentences" as charts (or horoscopes), interpret them, work with them, etc. These ideas have been transformed to programs and helped solve many different astrological tasks. In this article we want to demonstrate to you how the idea of the astrological language (AL) can be applied. The AL approach is realized in all of the latest versions of AIR Software programs (SuperSearch block and Model's Editor window). Astrological "words" are combined into "parts of speech" that are created as tabs. The number of such tabs in the latest version of the program exceeds 30, and it is growing. Here are some of them: "Planet's position in Zodiac's sign and in house" (it concerns two "words" such as "The Sun in Taurus", or "Moon in 5th house", or "Saturn somewhere", etc.) - and you can define the type of Zodiac or the house system as well as the type of the planet according to the chart (transit or natal); "Aspects" - which includes any possible type of aspects; "Midpoints", "Planetary Phases", "Planetary Figures". It also includes astronomical phenomena (i.e., accepted as phenomena by astronomers and physicists) that might have some meaning from an astrological point of view - such as "Planetary direction, speed and acceleration" (astrologers will define such phenomena as retrograde planets and stations). The list goes on and on but the list is not yet finished it continues to be developed and grow all the time. Let us show how it can be applied to some practical tasks. What do all astrologers usually do? They study charts, especially their own charts. I also like to do that with my own chart. The AL comes into play when a question is posed from the chart. For example, I might wonder about how to find my "astrological twin"? That in turn will make me seek a method of finding the dates when planets were located (or will be located) in the same Zodiac signs as in my natal chart. The AL (Astrological Language) makes it easy to accomplish. In this example, we need to find all possible dates when the Sun is in Capricorn, and Moon in Pisces, ...- when all planetary positions through to Jupiter in Scorpio are the same as mine. We will do it using the SuperSearch program. This is a special program that operates with astrological language tools. First of all, we create the first astrological event - "Sun in Capricorn": Then we create the second event: Moon in Pisces, and all other planetary positions (each one separately). It is very easy to do this. When the last event is created, we need to then create a model that combines all of these separate events together. In this instance, it is a very simple logical model - all events should exist at the same time. The program has found that within last 500 years (this interval was defined by me), starting from the year 1500, all of the planets were in these positions three times. The program analyzed almost 200 thousand charts in just a few minutes - it was faster than making a cup of coffee! And you can see the result: The colored lines correspond to the time intervals when all planets from the Sun to Jupiter were located in the same signs of Zodiac as in my natal chart. We can see that it happened on Jan 11, 1532 and Jan 12, 1769. I would like to read diaries of the persons who were born at that time! Would you? The main idea of the Astrological Language (AL) is that you can create any astrological event that can be imagined of and combine them in any way you want. As I have mentioned before, you can create events for any aspects, midpoints, planetary speed, planetary phases, house/zodiacal reception, etc. - even something like the "baricenter of the Solar System is outside of Sun sphere" (as per Theodore Landscheidt's research). Now we support about 30 categories of astrological/astronomical events and we are developing this language actively. This allows us to find new approaches to astrological and physical problems as well (such as, analyzing stock market moving, sunspot activity, or earthquakes.) You can analyze any historical interval or analyze any natal chart list, no matter how long it is. For example, we can analyze all 24 thousand natal charts from the DAV data base and find the charts with some particular feature (s). It is a terrific tool to understand the basics of astrology. I will try to explain what I mean. There are many astrological "cookbooks" on the shelves nowadays. With AL, we can read them all and check their arguments in an instant! We have no need to trust, we have now a way to know what really works, with the proper data base, of course. There are a lot of possibilities for the application of AL. Here is one more example based on my natal chart. I have a house reception between the 5th and 10th houses, and I want to know where on the Earth this type of relationship can be realized. Again, it is easy with the AL: we create the astrological event "Reception 5 and 10": Then we project this model, not in time, but in space. To do this, we transport the model to our Locality Maps program. Here it is: According to our Locality Maps program, this type of relationship can be better realized from Finland to Mozambique, including the European section of Russia. I cannot really say how things fare in Scandanavia or through the coast of Africa, as I have never been there. However, I can certainly say that this was true for me in Russia, where I was born. We can create any model based on any relevant information - and find the best places for love, successful career, etc. Those models can be based on general considerations as well as specific interests or peculiarities of any given chart. Statistics for Astrology Now let us demonstrate how these ideas can be applied for astrological research. To do so we will use our Astro Investigator program. This program allows you to do any astrological research fantastically fast and effectively. And AL lies behind this, too. One more important feature of this program is to apply statistics to astrology. For example, we download a data base with 800 charts for managers. We will produce a statistical research trying to define astrological indicators for managers . The result is here: Here we have calculated chi-square function and the coefficient of correlation for different astrological events. (By the way, to provide a true astrological research, it is better to be acquainted with the basics of statistics. Useful information can be found in the book "Astrological Research Methods", V.1, edited by M. Pottinger. It's helpful, but not "a-must"...) The program does all necessary calculations, saving the astrologer time for making conclusions. As you can see, managers more often have an accentuated 11th house (with the Sun and Mercury in it), Jupiter in 12, and the 6th cusp in Aquarius. The cusp of the 2nd house seldom lays in Capricorn, and Mercury seldom sets on the DSC. Those findings can be applied to creation of the astrological "formula for managers". In other words, in the BlackBox window of the Astro Investigator program, we combine all important astrological factors from the statistical research and define them with different weights. This part of our research is the application of multi-variation analysis: The program creates the model and compares it to the control group data. If the created model is good enough, the program saves it. We can use this model later - for example, by loading it into the Locality Maps program. Here you can see places the person of the chart can realize himself (or herself) as a manager, according to our model (red areas): This option was developed by us ( AIR Software) originally in 2000 ("Find the optimum place" window). It is a great feature, because this is a way to find places where different sides of the personality can be realized in the best way. Using our Astro Investigator program, we have created some models. All users of the Locality Maps program can download them here. There are 5 models here: 1) for managers (the model based on analysis of 800 managers' charts); 2) for actors (1600 charts); 3) for military people (2200 charts); 4) for artists (1400 charts); 5) for sportsmen (1700 charts). We were unable to obtain good models for physicists and especially for politicians. The reason might be that we have analyzed only planetary and cusp positions in the Zodiac while creating these models. Thus, these models are the simplest ones. But the program can create more complicated models based on the experience of the astrologer. For example, creating models for stock market forecasting we use combinations of thousands and thousands of astrological events. The possibilities that the Astrological Language (AL) gives to the astrologer are truly tremendous.
