Guest guest Posted August 22, 2003 Report Share Posted August 22, 2003 Dear Guru Chandrashekharji, Thanks for your time and space, though I was of the opinion which I could be wrong is that since Mer gets debilitated in Pisces where Ven gets exalted hence effects of Mer were in a way to reduce sexual desires or feelings. as it is getting exal and deb in opp manner to that of Ven. Pls correct me if needed and I would love to invite Gurus Swee Chan and Ramadasji and other members into this discussion. on other thoughts I have been trying to put some thought on some basics questions as to why does a particular planet get exalted and deb in a diff signs and whats the reasoning for their moola trikona. I mean for eg: whats the reasoning logic behind Ven getting exalted in Pisces, why should Aries be the sign of exaltation of Sun and exng similar thinking to other planets. If by raising these questions I am undermining anyones authority it is not so, just trying to think here. The reason is that for a couple to form one has to be a male and other female. The planets ruling matters sexual for them are Venus and Mars. Again unless Mercury is afflicted and in 7th house of wife( besides other combinations) mere wearing of Emerald is not likely to affect the sexual drive. If we apply the logic to Mars then one should also not wear Pearl as Mars get debilitation in Cancer. However, others might have different opinions. Chandrashekhar.
