Dear gurus,

i'm getting different charts when i use

different methods of ayanamsa.

for ex: the planet postions i got from

raman method are not matching with those of

krishnamurthi method.

can somebody tell me why it happens so?

and which method to use?

Dear Matt,

Your question is a very basic question which all the beginners

will have and I still have some times. Based on my

observations and guidance from my Guru Ji, I can say this:

Most Astrologer's use Lahiri Ayanamsa (including most of the

examples in the text books), but I use KP ayanamsa too.

I know, you must have got no answer from me, but that is how it

is. My suggesion is start with Lahiri and then experiment with

KP and see whether which one gives you the predictions accurately.

Dear Matt,

The positions you get from Ramans ayanamsa will be different from

KP. Closely observe the degrees of planets. Even if on the surface

they seem to appear similar, check their divisional positions they

will be different.

So there will be difference just maybe directly apparent from Rasi

and Navamsa.

Hope that helps,

Cheers !!!
