Sarpa Dosha

Dear Kaimalji,

If you go through old messages in the list you will find the planetary

combinations for Sarpa Dosha.Anyhow for your information and also for others,I

am giving here below the planetary combinations which form Sarpa Dosha ;

1) Rahu aspecting weak 5th house from Lagna,

2) Weak 5th lord aspected by Rahu,

3) 5th lord weak,Guru in conjunction with Rahu and Lagna lord with Kuja.

4) Mesha and Vrischika become 5th house and 5th lord is with Rahu aspected by Budha.

5) When Guru becomes Badhakadhipaty and is placed in 12th or 8th or 6th and Rahu

is in Kendra to such a Guru.

6) When Guru in 5) in Kendra to Mandi.

7) Rahu is in Badhaka Stana.

8) Rahu is 7) is aspected by Surya and 9) by Chandra and 10) Both aspected by Rahu.

Any of the above planetary combination in a chart or Prashna chart indicates Sarpa Dosha or Badha.

This Sarpa Suktam can be listened or chanted,if you have Sarpa Dosha but then it

should be recited minimum of 5 times a day in the morning.

If you dont have any Sarpa Dosha also,then you can listen or chant once a day in the morning.

the message wherein i learnt about the demise of your father. I am really sorry

to hear this and hope God gives you all the strength to bear this loss.

As per what I've lerned, and clarifications given by Ramadas, Visti, and others

/see the tread in the archive/ detrimental effects of KS will take place in

houses involved. Effects can also be modified, blended, depending on other

factors.

So the answer is, as ussual: 'Depends'- on the entire chart.

Dear Youry,

Your Lagna is Mesha,so Guru is not Badhakadhipaty eventhough he is the lord of

12th and placed in 12th.Ofcourse Rahu is in 4th from Guru but it does'nt mean

that your have Sarpa Dosha.As Guru is strong in his swakshetra,Meena Rasi ,its

aspect on Rahu will make him calm.Guru in 12th in his own house indicates you

are highly spiritual.

Dear Youry,

Your Lagna is Mesha,so Guru is not Badhakadhipaty eventhough he is the

lord of 12th and placed in 12th.Ofcourse Rahu is in 4th from Guru but it

does'nt mean that your have Sarpa Dosha.As Guru is strong in his

swakshetra,Meena Rasi ,its aspect on Rahu will make him calm.Guru in 12th

in his own house indicates you are highly spiritual.

Dear Vijayadas Pradeep,

As per your chart,Karaka for eyes Surya as well as Chandra are afflicted by Rahu

in the 2nd house from Dhanu Lagna where Lagna Lord Guru is placed causing Hamsa

Pancha Mahapurusha Yoga as Guru is free from all afflictions.Also Shukra is

exalted giving Malvya Pancha Maha Purusha Yoga.You are highly religious

person.You will perform a lot of religious rituals and help to the poor.But now

Rahu in the 2nd causing sarpa Dosha which is causing you eye defect and can not

be diagnosed by any doctor.Now in the mail ,you said you have family Sarpa Vana

and your family has left going there is the cause of this eye trouble for you.So

it is better to go to family Sarpa Vana and perform Ashlesha Bali Pooja with

Homam followed by Pavamana Sukta Homam and other rituals as per your family

by a Lady Priest and

the Poojas there are effective.As you area Malayalee,you can talk with the

officials there to conduct a special Pooja to ward off Sarpa Dosha.Otherwise

you have to come to Mangalore and travel to a place called Subrahmanya where

they will perform Sarpa Samskara and Ashlesha Bali Pooja with Homam etc.Tell

sparing your valuable time for answering my questions.I belong to a family that

has been suffering from trajedies for generations in the form of

suicides,accidental deaths and mental deceases and all those struck down fell

at their prime youth.We have done various poojas in various temples as per the

advice of astrologers and slowly the curse seems to be weakening.But

the mental deceases are still being carried forward and my own 2 brothers were

affected.I have looked at the charts of relatives affected with the information

you have kindly given and I find that combinations for Sarpa Dosha you have

given are very much there in more than one way in some cases.What can we do to

stop this from affecting our furute generations?Only the male members of the

Dear Ramadas ji,

I have been reading your recent posts on Sarpa Dosha with interest and have a

question in that regard.What is the Aslesha Bali Homam? I have seen you

reccomending it and searched the web but couldnt find anything.I was wondering

if it has anything to do with the Aslesha Nakshatra which I rememember is ruled

by Sarpa.Thanks for your time and knowledge.
