John, I am afraid you are confused regarding bhaga chumbana yoga. That yoga is

formed if the 7th lord (of interactions) is in the 4th house (of pleasures)

with Venus (significator of passion), which does not happen in this chart. The

result of the yoga is excessive sexual pleasure. The phrase "bhaga chumbana"

literally means kissing the female sex organ.

Regarding Sri Ravindra's original question, I think Jupiter and Mercury are

responsible. Logical faculties, learning abilities, memory and processing of

information are ruled by Mercury. Final judgment is ruled by Jupiter.

Here Jupiter is afflicted by Rahu. That weakens Jupiter even though he is in his

own sign. Of course, many people would have Jupiter with Rahu and that alone

cannot be the reason. Look at navamsa for the abilities. Jupiter and Mercury

are afflicted by nodes and it shows some weakness in the corresponding

abilities which were mentioned above. To clinch the case, look at nakshatramsa

(D-27), which shows strengths and weaknesses operating at the sub-conscious

level or instinct level. There also, Mercury and Jupiter are afflicted by the

two nodes.

These nodal afflictions in navamsa and nakshatramsa make the abilities and

instincts indicated by Jupiter and Mercury suffer. Moreover, Jupiter and

Mercury are in nodal constellations (Jupiter is in the constellation of Ketu

who afflicts him in navamsa and D-27, while Mercury is in the constellation of

Rahu who afflicts him in navamsa and D-27). All these factors disturb the

logical faculties and judgment.

Moreover, this disturbed Mercury has an exact 3rd aspect on Jupiter (w3ithin

half a degree). Thus the wavering Mercury's influence weakens an already weak

Jupiter and afflicts the judgment.

The 3rd house shows short journeys/displacement. Because Mercury is the 3rd

lord, his weakness results in problems in journeys.

May Jupiter's light shine on us,

Narasimha
