Guest guest
Vyam Vyasa-devaya Namah! If concepts of neecha (debilitation) and uchcha (exalatation) are applicable in navamsa (or any divisional chart), then neecha banga yogas are applicable too. After describing the 12 houses, rasis, grahas - their ownership, moolatrikona, exaltation, debilitation, Parasara describes divisional charts and suggests that all that is applicable to rasi are applicable to divisional charts as well. -Siva. vedic astrology, Rajeswari Shankar <rajeswarishankar> wrote: > > Hi Group, > Neecha panga raja yoga applies to rasi chart only or in navamsa chart is it applicable also. > Thanks > Raji > > "sraja123 <kkm2jt>" <kkm2jt> wrote:Hi! > > In this chart > > DOB : April 21st 1970 > > Time : 22:20 > > 77E50; 8N44 > > Saturn is debilitated and associated with exalted sun in a kendra > from moon. Guest guest
Dear All, Well I found something interesting in Yoga 260 of 300 Imp.Yogas by Shri B.V.Raman, which is as follows: Yoga260 (B.V.Raman(300 Important Yogas Book)): The Lord of the Navamsa occupied by a debilitated planet , should join a quadrant or trine from Lagna(Rasi Chart), which should be a movable sign and the Lord of the Laagna should also be in amoveable sign Results: The native becomes a ruler or eual to him Remarks: When the Lagna is a moveable sign and the Lagnaadhipati occupies a moveable sign, the lord of the Navamsa held by the debiliated planet is said to become capable of conferring Raja Yoga, provided the said planet is in a kendra or trikona from Lagna. (this is aroundabout combination and not tested by B.V. Raman) So this is a possible case when debiltated planet in Navamsa, gets Neechbhanga in Rasi...all the best and regards. Guest guest
Dear chandrasekhar Both Phaladeepika and Dr. B.V Raman state that the planet that gets exalted in the debilitated rasi (there is some controversy on this with Phaladeepika about ucchanatha) in a kendra from lagna or moon would confirm neechabhanga. I am not sure which source you are using. Guest guest
Dear Sam, No doubt what you say is right inso far as the Two treatises mentioned. However, Jataka Parijat states in its Rajayogadhya Shloka 13 that the Rasi lord(Neecha Rasi) and and Uchhnath have to be in angle with Moon for Neecha Bhanga Rajyoga to take place. In case of Uchhnath controversy too, you will find that Lord of the Rasi where the Graha is Exalted would be correct interpretation ; since then a Panch Mahapurusha Yoga is formed. If you take the Graha which is Exalted in that Rasi then Sun and Moon would be involved and their being in Quadrant from Ascendant would not form PMY. I personally feel that Jataka Parijat shoka 13 has the correct logic.Ohters have given 5 or more different combinations leading to Neecha Bhanga Yogas, but when tried out in various combinations no special efective powerful arises in every instance to confirm occurence of Neechabhanga Rajayoga. As enjoined by the Sages to use one's Viveka, I personally think that we should analyse any stated yoga against the basic principles of Jyotish and decide for oneself its effectiveness or otherwise. By the way about your query about effects of Saturn being combust, you might find below reference interesting. Guest guest
Dear Chandrasekhar, I fully agree with you in what you say. For full benefits of neechabhanga rajayoga both the dispositor and uchhanatha ( I still seem to have different views on this and probably agree with Dr. Raman and others that the exalted planet in the rasi is appropriate because it makes that rasi strong) should be in kendra and strongly disposed. The stronger they are the better. However, plenty of charts do have debilitated planets and it would be erroneous to term them all bad without this strict condition. My belief is that they provide some yoga (the five listed in various texts but not the pure neechabhanga rajayoga. I guess it is in a chart by chart basis. I would be curious as to your interpretation of the saturn period for my friend (chart in earlier messages). Sun is a strong functional benefic since he is dhanus ascdt. Guest guest
Dear Sam, I can see why exalted panet in the same rasi could strengthen the debilitated planet , but by the same token would the debilitated planet take strength away from the house of the Exalted planet. I also agree that this is to be taken on chart to chart basis.Debilitated planets do not ,always give bad results. For example Mars in Cancer posited in 10th gives excellent results. What many astrologer, probably, fail to understand is that the debilitated planet always aspects his exaltation Rasi.I think they may harm the bhava in which they are placed(again on case to case basis)and their own houses but strengthen their exaltation houses.I would like the learned Gurus to throw some light on this aspect. About your friend,"Bhavartha Ratnakar" states that Saturn does not give bad results for Sagitarius Ascendant though a Markesh by virtue of being 2nd lord and Trishadaipati(lord 0f 3rd).Again Mahadasha of an inimical Lord during Antardasha of the same planet gives reverse results.Having said this, and taking into consideration current Gochar movements of Saturn and Jupiter as well as the natal positions of the planets; I should think this period should be a period of change for your friend. Some family problems may crop up but would not be beyond control. He could also turn to spritual thinking around this time.Change in work place and thype of work could occur around jan.9th when Saturn enters Taurus and aspects 12th house. He may also have some physical problems related to 7th and 8th house but nothing much to worry about. As there is no specific query this is the general indication I can give with my limited knowledge. Guest guest
Hi, Here are my humble comments: Chart of Rajeswari : DURYOGA: when the 10th lord is in the 6th/8th/12th hose, the person will not derieve the fruits of his/her own bodily exertion. The person will be looked down upon by others. Hoever when 10th lord is in 12th, the person will get some noble qualities and that will give a certain amount of respect in the society. In your case 10th lord and Lagna Lord Jupiter is in 12th house. SO if you pray to Lord Jupiter(BRIHASPATI), then you can get good job in foreign nations, since Jupiter is placed in 12th house. Also present period of Rahu/Ketu is not good for one year until 2nd Dec2003, then Rahu/venus starts and that will be a much better period until 2nd Dec2006( 3 years). The last part of Rahu mahadasa is full of struggles in most cases until Jupiter mahadasa starts on 15th May 2010. So you can potentially have a good career during Rahu/venus and Jupiter mahadasa, depending upon your efforts. You can make deeper analsyis using TA annual charts. Venus is in 8th house in D10 chart with Merucry, who is 8th Lord in dasamsa. So May be you can work from home or rather say theplanets will force you to work from home or stay home during Rahu/Venus..it all depends upon your efforts. I am also going through a similar 8th house phenomenon, although I have no desire to stay at home etc., This is the 8th house effect. That's all I know. All the best. Also I did not get the combination which you mentioned i.e., What about cancer navamsa and lagna lord moon is in aries with exalted sun and debliated saturn in 10th place??..I think that happens with Raman Ayanmsa and not with Lahiri Ayanmsa. I used Lahiri Ayanmsa. Your chart is also attached here. Regards. Guest guest
Thanks For the Comments. What about cancer navamsa and lagna lord moon is in arieswith exalted sun and debliated saturn in 10thplace??.. I am telling about the navamsa chart(D-9) in that moon is lagna lord and moon & sun is in aries and saturn is debliated!!! Thanks Raji Rajesh Kumaria <rajeshkumaria2000 > wrote: Hi, Here are my humble comments: Chart of Rajeswari : DURYOGA: when the 10th lord is inthe 6th/8th/12th hose, the person will not derieve thefruits of his/her own bodily exertion. The person willbe looked down upon by others. Hoever when 10th lordis in 12th, the person will get some noble qualitiesand that will give a certain amount of respect in thesociety. In your case 10th lord and Lagna Lord Jupiteris in 12th house. SO if you pray to LordJupiter(BRIHASPATI), then you can get good job inforeign nations, since Jupiter is placed in 12thhouse. Also present period of Rahu/Ketu is not goodfor one year until 2nd Dec2003, then Rahu/venus startsand that will be a much better period until 2ndDec2006( 3 years). The last part of Rahu mahadasa isfull of struggles in most cases until Jupiter mahadasastarts on 15th May 2010. So you can potentially have agood career during Rahu/venus and Jupiter mahadasa, depending upon your efforts. You can make deeperanalsyis using TA annual charts. Venus is in 8th house in D10 chart with Merucry, whois 8th Lord in dasamsa. So May be you can work fromhome or rather say theplanets will force you to workfrom home or stay home during Rahu/Venus..it alldepends upon your efforts. I am also going through asimilar 8th house phenomenon, although I have nodesire to stay at home etc., This is the 8th houseeffect. That's all I know. All the best. Also I didnot get the combination which you mentioned i.e., Whatabout cancer navamsa and lagna lord moon is in arieswith exalted sun and debliated saturn in 10thplace??..I think that happens with Raman Ayanmsa andnot with Lahiri Ayanmsa. I used Lahiri Ayanmsa. Yourchart is also attached here. Regards. Guest guest
Hi Rajeswari, I know that you meant Navamsha Chakra and infact you get such a combination with Raman Ayanmsa only. With Lahiri, Saturn is in Aries in 10th house in D9 chart.Sun and Moon are in Pisces in 5th house. Here are rules concerning debilitated planets curtesy of Zoran of this group: "Ok, Here are the rules;-of course they are general, and additional infleunces must be taken into account 1. Debilitated malefics in kendra are good for material aspect, while exalted for spirituality. IF retrograde, the situation is reveresed. 2. Debilitated benefics are bad for material aspect while exalted are good unless retrograde 3. Debilitated benefics are good for material aspect when placed in dusthana unless retrograde, while exalted are good for spiritual aspect 4. Debilitated malefics in dusthana are bad for material aspect while exalted are good unless retrograde" So rule #1 applies in you case an Saturn debilitated in Kendra in D9 is good for you infact in materialistic terms..so you do not need neechbhanga infact. A Planet which has rajyoga in rashi chakra but debilitate din navamsa causes RAJBHANGA YOGA, but this does not apply to you since Saturn is in Gemini in Rashi and in Aries in Navamsha. Also in d10, it is in Sagittarius. So Saturn's debilitation in 10th house is actually conducive to you and all you have to worry about is actually JUPITER only..all the best..Rajesh Kumaria vedic astrology, Rajeswari Shankar <rajeswarishankar> wrote: > > Hi > Thanks For the Comments. > What about cancer navamsa and lagna lord moon is in aries > with exalted sun and debliated saturn in 10th > place??.. > > I am telling about the navamsa chart(D-9) in that moon is lagna lord and moon & sun is in aries and saturn is debliated!!! > > Thanks > > Raji > > > > Rajesh Kumaria <rajeshkumaria2000> wrote:Hi, Here are my humble comments: > Chart of Rajeswari : DURYOGA: when the 10th lord is in > the 6th/8th/12th hose, the person will not derieve the > fruits of his/her own bodily exertion.
