Guest guest
Dear Visti and Saurav, sorry for interuppting your thread. I too have a wishlist, which infact have asked visti larsen earlier in a mail : 1. what are the various shapas indicate? the BPHS only indicate the lack of children whereas VL once said there are other effects also which are taught in the parampara. 2. Are there basic rules for prescribing various remedies? when you will prescribe a mantra, when will you do a yantra etc. Right now, I am doing totally based on my understanding and not based on authorities The various books (Sanjayji etc) do not give any such basic rules ( I have about half dozen books on the remedies) 3. what will do you when a planet is malefic and you want to appease, in terms of stone? often, I am not prescribing the stone if the said planet is also a natural malefic. I think these are very basic questions but somehow I missed the answers since I am not a formal student . Guest guest
||Hare Rama Krsna|| Dear Kishore, Namaskar Comments below. Best wishes, *** Visti Larsen For services and articles visit: http://srigaruda.com *** [] On Behalf Of kishore mohan 14 May 2006 18:22 [Om Krishna Guru] Re: To Visti-ji,Suggestion for a article Dear Visti and Saurav, sorry for interuppting your thread. I too have a wishlist, which infact have asked visti larsen earlier in a mail : 1. what are the various shapas indicate? the BPHS only indicate the lack of children whereas VL once said there are other effects also which are taught in the parampara. [Visti] The article has already been written! It was written by Pt. Sanjay Rath to be presented in Serbia and California in 2004. I think some of the students on this list have been discussing this article. I hope they can help you to read it. Basically see the planets involved in the main-curse combination. If its fifth lord/house then children are involved. If other houses, then other effects. Primarily we must see where the sorrow is coming from and here we can form a base-rule: i) see the lordship of the malefics involved in the curse. Their lordship will indicate which areas are causing suffering to the native. Example chart: Sri Rama Avatara; Cancer Lagna, with Moon and Jupiter in lagna. Saturn in fourth house, Rahu in sixth, Mars in seventh, Venus in ninth, Sun in tenth, Mercury in eleventh and Ketu in twelfth... draw this chart and follow; Here two or more malefics are aspecting Surya, Chandra and Guru forming curse of Father, Mother and Brahmin respectively. The brahmin curse is the worst and will be the most prominent one. Saturn is one of the afflictors and rules the seventh and eighth house, among which the seventh is stronger. As a result he had to see the kidnapping of his wife - Sita. Mars is involved in the curse and lords the tenth and fifth houses, among which the tenth is stronger and rules the simhasana - he would see the loss of his throne/kingdom because of this, and it so happened that his exile happened just as there was talk of his future coronation. In this manner we can form the first inference about the curse in the chart. 2. Are there basic rules for prescribing various remedies? when you will prescribe a mantra, when will you do a yantra etc. Right now, I am doing totally based on my understanding and not based on authorities The various books (Sanjayji etc) do not give any such basic rules ( I have about half dozen books on the remedies) [Visti] The three types of remedies being: Tantra, Mantra and Yantra work on the Body (inhibiting wrong actions of ones self or others), Mind (changing the persons inborn tendencies and that of their community) and Soul (changing the samskaras themselves) respectively. But, the lines between them are not so strict as a Mantra when reciting very sincerely will begin to change your body and eventually also change the samskaras. So question is really: when can we settle for a gemstone and when is mantra a must? Offcourse the mantra if accompanied with a yantra is much more powerful as it is God manifesting before you in real form... but the restrictions are very high if you are going to invite God to your house. Mantra is a must when the problem is at an atma level or involves a curse. We cannot cure a curse with gemstones as that is simply impossible. So prefer mantra for curses, doshas involving atmakaraka and problems due to panchanga (gandanta, sankranti, etc). Prefer gemstones to ensure stability in one direction, i.e. for enhancing raja yogas, ensuring good fortune or ensuring that people do not cause their own bad-fortune. Now which type of mantra or gemstone is a very detailed question which i will delay till later. 3. what will do you when a planet is malefic and you want to appease, in terms of stone? often, I am not prescribing the stone if the said planet is also a natural malefic. [Visti] There is a way by wearing that gemstone on the left hand, as then the negative effects of that graha are decreased. We use this normally when a malefic dasa arrives which is evil for health. I think these are very basic questions but somehow I missed the answers since I am not a formal student .
