Guest guest
Namah Shivaya, Because many people cannot digest raw veggies, (in fact in Chinese Medicine raw veggies are a no-no), someone came up with a green leafy veggie soup. Sadly, I lost the recipe, so I am guessing here. It's a good way to eat a lot of green leafies and it goes down very well, even with my weak stomach. You start with 1/2 package frozen spinach 1-2 bunches of chard or the leafy veggies of your choice Cook the spinach wash the greens well, place in a blender with about 1/2 or 1 cup of water and blend well Put blended greens in the pot with the spinach add a touch of olive oil cook until just below boiling Add a little salt. And presto! lots of leafy greens, not overcooked. Delicious. In fact it is very difficult for this child to not make a pig of herself! How you get 1/2 package of frozen spinach is beyond me, unless you use a hacksaw, or are Charles Atlas, or save the other half and eat later End of cooking lesson. Love, prasadini ..
