K.N.Rao about Sanjay Rath

In 1998, one day I saw the name Sanjay Rath and asked him whether he

was the same man who used to come to me with his father, an engineer

industrialist, in 1984-86 period.

I had also asked him whether he had taken a prediction about his

success in the section officer examination and I had predicted his

success. He answered he was and he thanked me for that prediction.

Later, when on the list he was giving political predictions, I had

warned him, on this list not to do it because as a government servant

he could run into trouble.

I had seen his horoscope in the meantime.

I do not remember his answer. But he ran into trouble and had to, to

cut a long story short, leave his job. If anyone has the archives of

the list that could be reproduced.

Those days he was doing engineering from Madras was what his father

had told me. After that I was a little surprised that instead of

joining some industry he chose to appear for such a small examinati!

on which ofcourse is tough.

In the late eighties,his uncle N.R.Hota IAS who had been consulting

me since 1978 told me once that his nephew (Sanjay) was spending

sometime on astrology after office hours.

Like most of us, he after high school he went into a professional

course and not into Sanskrit studies in higher courses.

One day when he sent a copy of his book Crux etc.I had commented on

this list that most of the horoscopes he had used were wrong. I had

them in my personal collection and I had given many predictions on

them. Now it seems he is a full time astrologer though I have not met

him after 1986 when I changed my house in Delhi. I am not aware of

his present activities. In 1998 his wife, Sushma, had come to me for

an astrological reading.

When I talk about him it is with familiarity.
