Guest guest
Let me clarify. Dr. Raman was doing very little of personal readings except of those who had been going to him for many years. He was concentrating on his magazine, books and other activities in later life, unlike earlier years when he did personal readings quite a lot. He took keener interest in mundane astrology. Between 1982 and 1994 whenever we met in Delhi he was busy visiting publishers to arrange the publication and distribution of his books. He snatched some time to do the readings of some people who visited him at the India International Centre where he stayed whenever he came to Delhi. It was in 1994 that our difference over his ayanamsha led to our mutual differences and parting. What surprised me that during his visit to USA in 1992 he refused to do any personal reading of Americans, which I thought would have carried a strong message about the predictive value of Hindu astrology. I did that , or rather had to. K.N.Rao.
