Riddle of aspects of Sat Jup Mars

Dear learned members,

Many students have asked on the answer to puzzle posed by Sanjayji on his

website regarding why Jupiter saturn and mars aspect by 5/9,3/10 and 4/8

aspects in addition to the 7th house aspect as with other planets.Since till

now nobody haas answered this I will answer this. The reason for delay was

that,I waited for those more learned than me to respond. The answer to what

Sanjayji asked is pretty straightforward and rooted in basic concepts of

Astrology. Look at planetary cabinet and the answer is obvious.

Jupiter is the Minister of the King so he has to watch over good education

being imparted(Specially to Rajputras or princes) and protect the Dharma of

the King and kingdom (Royal duties unto Kingdom and citizens). So he aspects

5th house the house of Progenyand education( more precisely knowledge) and

9th house denoting Dharma.

Saturn is described as Bhritya (Servant) 3rd is Parakrama and Coborns and

10th is Rajya and Karma. It is the duty of a servant to protect the Kingdom

by his parakrama(Valour). In order to perfom his duties Saturn aspects 3rd

and 10th house.

Mars is the General of Army his duty is to protect Lands, look after the

welfare/happiness(Sukha) and Life of the King so he aspects 4th(Land and

Happiness or welfare) and 8th (Ayush Bhava) in order to protect them.

Confusion can arise as routinely 8th house is called Mrityu sthana(that

result is there when ayush sthana is afflicted and obviously so) but

remember it is 2nd that is mrityu and therefore 2nd lord is called Marakesh.

All planets aspect the 7th represented by Spouse ( Associates too) as it is

everybody's prime duty.

I trust this will help.

Chandrashekhar.

Respected Chandrashekharji Namaste

You really make the things pretty simple by getting to basics of the

astrology. Very amazing. I thought that Ju/MA/Sa have dual aspect to

nurture their prime duty and uphold Dharma. As these are the only

planets that can uphold dharma. Sun/Moon/Me/Ve have been casted to

perform anti-dharma activity. Sun to give progeny before

marriage,Chandra to take away Guru's wife, Shukra as priest of

Rakshasas and Budha as illegal progeny. So it becomes duty of only

these three planets to protect Dharma. That is why I thought these

have been given dual aspect.

Ju has 5th and 9th aspect. 5th aspect is to protect its basic duty.

That is VanshaVrudhi(to avoid varnaSankar) indicated by 5th house and

since 9th house is house of Dharma it is aspected priest.

The MA has 4th and 8th aspect. 4th aspect to protect its prime duty.

That is land protection indicated by 4th house. He is as well

Senapati or Police so he has to control the loss of Dharma. Hence he

aspects 8th house 12th to Dharma house. The chaotic situation that

can arise because of loss of Dharma must be controled by Police hence

8th house aspect. I never thought more simple asnwer as aspect on

Aayusha-Bhava!

The Sa has 3rd and 10th dristi these are Marak-sthanas of dharma.

Shani is as well known as Dharmaraj. So to protect Dharma it has 3rd

and 10th aspect. The Parakrama and Karma angle is more convincing.

After all many say complex problems have simple solutuions. Thanks.

Thanks a lot for your Time and Space.

Dear Amolmandar,

The reason confusion arises is because we try to equate Dharma with religion as

in proselytising religions, as against Dharma signifying Duty of the Hindu

Dharma.

It is rightly said that, in Kaliyuga, Maya will cover the Satya. Once we look

beyond Maya rest becomes crystal clear.

These exact same querries we answered some months back on Srijagannath list and

this Vedic-Astrology list. What i've never understood however is why do the

outer planets have more sight than the others.. is it because they have a
