Guest guest
Dear RAMANARAYANANJI, At the onset I do not mind at all receiving your response since its been a pleasure. I do agree with you on the part that sages had a certain plane of thinking that goes beyond normal humans, this part I agree with without any questions. But what my mind fails to understand is the following line of reasoning. You have and everyone of us denotes and associate astrology to the divine and to God itself. But I always wonder that there are so many religions created in the world. To name some we have Christanity, Islam, Sikhum, Buddhisum and many more. So please answer my following query. These religions were created by Gurus and Phrophets who were about normal human thinking too. Their thoughts connected with that of God and they wrote the Bible, Quran, GuruGranth Sahib and the Buddhist Sutras, by recieving messages and connecting with God. Then how can such people not mention or talk about Astrology in these RELIGIOUS books of different faiths. Astrology had been created so long ago that they Prophets and Saints were well aware of its existance. So why did not they include it in their religious scriptures. Or as HUMANKIND to follow it and to use it to imporve life, by wearing stones and so on. Infact Buddha said that it was much wrong and much wrongful of humans to look into the stars and guide their destiney. Then I fail to understand why such great Saints like Buddha, Christ, the 10 Gurus of Sikhisum, Prophet Muhammed. and many others DID NOT preach astrology or mention about it in the other faiths. Also Just to side track a bit, Hinduisum is considered an ideology and even in the Geeta I have (perhaps not well versed) not come across any reference to astrology or using it for any means be it good or bad. The sages identified many planets and I am amazed at the way the very able to accurately calculate the position of stars and so on. But now many more planets are found the so called outer planets and Im sure that they influence human life too. This Im pretty certain about because if saturn can influence us and moon can then so can pluto and uraunus and everything. But since the old times the furthet planet that could be observed was saturn they sages decided to take that as the final planet since they thought there was nothing futher out and saturn was considered to be the darket and the coldest. But today we know that is not the case, and that pluto is the furthestst and the coldest also the outer planets stay in transit for much longer time and they influence our lives more heavily than the inner and fast moving planets. Dont you think so ?? About having faith. Well the problem lies in the point that if I have and put compelete faith in astrology then I would lose all faith in God. Since I would consider stars as my sole deciders of life and a person such as God would not play any role in my life. Because if something happened to me then I would say its because of the planets and stars and they guide my desitney. But if I have faith in God then I will let God take its toll on my life and leave my life in His hands alone. Yet we are trying to reach a middle stage between God and astrology. When we, as humans need something to comfort us during trouble times, the idea of true faith in God seems far fetech and one turns to Astrology because its more humanly and the results are instant and also are the remedies. But on the higher note true faith in God requires a human to completly surrender to Him in complete devition without faith in anythingelse but Him alone. And as I mentioned astrology and God diverete ways. Because as I said having read many religious books. NONE talk about using ASTROLOGY or gives in reference to IT atleast not in a positive way and Buddha Himself has critized such a practive. So I ask myself where excatly are we as astrologers and as religious men who talk about God. ????? Please Do respond back since I would truly appreciate your reponse on this matter. I am not against the sages nor am I against Good or bad I am only opening my mind to the various possiblities of life. For I wish to indulge in the true essence of life and for my evolution to grow I have learned to question till my mind finds satisfaction and stands against the test of time. This is how I grow and this is how I evolve and with this evolution as an individual the human race will grow. regards annd best wishes Umeet
