Since I come from an upper middle-class, educated family and from social circumstances where a well-placed father not loving his children is extremely odd. But if it is due to the debilitated Sun in my chart alone, I like to add that I have a harmonious marriage since the time I got married in Nov 1993. My dob: Oct 31st 1971, 2:35 PM, Chennai. I'm very highly curious about this and want to know what I need to do (karmically) for this. Please shed some light. Due to which happiness from houses lorded by it is lost. Remedy for planets in Rasi sandhi is propitiation of Nakshatra lord. Venus is placed in Vishaka. Diety is Indragni, Mantra is "Om Indraagnibhyaam namah" will also help for good fortune and peace. b) Sun, The kaaraka for father, is in 9th house. For which Saaraavalli says 'Native is endowed with wealth, children and friends, will be very interested in worshipping gods and brahmins, will not be well disposed towards father and wife and be not calm'. d) 2nd lord from A9 is debilitated in Navamsa due to which father is having some problem in sustenance of his image. Since Mars it's dispositor is well placed in Navasamsa some recovery could be expected after marriage as Navamsa stands for marriage. e) If I change you time a bit I would be able to explain both your sister and D12 also changes which places 9th lord in 12th house with Saturn, hence some loss in paternal relations, Saturn could indicate some stress(6th lord) or alcoholism or depression. Guest guest Posted August 5, 2003 Report Share Posted August 5, 2003 Dear Shri Prabhakaranji, You're right about depression - during the middle of my Sade-sathi (between 1996 September and 1997 December), I suffered from depression, which eventually cleared off with trying several medications together. Though I'm not having depression after that, my doctor has adviced me to take a low dosage of these medications forever, which I'm doing. I hate to take these unusual medications forever since I had nothing of this sort until 1996 September and even was a university rank-holder at my M.Sc degree in India. Even after my recovery from this illness, I enrolled in Masters' degree in Software Engineering at a reputed university in US and topped the class with a GPA of 3.86 out of 4.0. Inspite of all the accomplishments, I feel strange due to having to take medications. What are the astrological reasons for this as you had indicated, is there any yagna, pooja that can be done to correct this, so I never have to take these medications? Also, I checked D-12, when I change the time to 2:38 PM, Saturn only becomes lord of 4 and 5 (with Libra rising), but is conjunct 9th lord Mercury in 12th house. Saturn only becomes the 6th lord in case of time being 2:35 PM, but in this case, 9th lord becomes Venus in D-12, and is placed in 3, and Saturn the 6th lord is placed with lagnesh Mercury in lagna Virgo. Please kindly let me know what you feel is right, the cause of this illness which is bothersome inspite of recovery.
