Sarpa Shaapa

and Sarpa Badhak

are new to me- thanks for that.

These are more frequent trouble-maker I guess than KSY.

 

In example I mentioned, its Malefic aspect Rahu /in both Rashi and Navasma-

which makes this SS more relevant. While in case of Sarpa Badhak I think badhak

obstructions are more pronaunced /what else?/ , for SS I don't have that clear

picture, as of the way it manifests. When you get a chance to elaborate on this

Taurus lagna- I found Exalted Saturn /badhakesh/ in 6th with Mars- not close

conjunction by orb, but still conj.- that's Sarpa Badhak-

Mars is seventh Lord- I would assume that contact with badakesh would exasperate

marital problems. Finaly,

What would be remedy for each of this 'baby' serpents?

 

In both cases badhakesh in sixth may indicate BM.?

I've read Sanjay's handout - on Badhak, for Conference- it's amazingly

persuasive and wet my appetite for more understanding- I would need to study

more and ask more- I feel helpless in my understanding of Deities, remedies,

related to these topic.

There are various types of problems from Serpents.

The two you have mentioned are;

i. Sarpa Yoga (malefics occupying 3 quadrants).

ii. Kala Sarpa Yoga (All planets between Ketu and Rahu - counted in zodiacal order).

 

There can be other problems from serpents such as;

i. Sarpa shaapa (curse of serpents due to malefics having graha dristi on Rahu).

ii. Sarpa Badhak (Badhak Sthana or Badhakesh associated with Rahu).

In the example you mentioned there could be Sarpa Badhak (need to see the

chart), but those two positions do not fulfill the criteria for Sarpa Yoga nor

Kala Sarpa Yoga.

 

As for malefics occupying angles. Note that out of the 4, 3 angles must be

occupied to ensure the Sarpa Yoga - try to think about this.
