Dear Sarajit,

 

Would it be correct conclussion that btw. the two- 3rd and 6th, 6th will prevail

as far as as 'enemies' are concerned?

Same from Rashi and AL.

1/When we have mixed benefics or malefics in these two houses.

 

Like malefic in third is good placement- indicates courage. And benefics in 6th-

but not interested in 'fighting'...or not having 'real enemies'

 

2/Secondly, would we consider ketu in 6th /in Rashi and/or from AL/ benefic or malefic?

 

3/ If Moolatrikona sign is in 6th, /Sagitarius/ and non-MT sign is in 9th,

Pisces, would you consider, based just on that diferrence, 6th- stronger than

9th? What implications would be wrt status of Jupiter /functional mal/ben/ -

 

I know that in this case, we'll treat Ju as benefic- But it's still not clear to me

the reason WHY?

 

3a/ It seems to be part of the same question: Ju is exalted in 8th house from his MT sign, Sag.

 

I think the two q's are related, are they not?

 

4/ I don't feel comfortable with understanding Rahu as Ishta Devata- which

energies would be there? Rahu is malefic, as Mars is- but unlike with Mars,

with Rahu I do not know what 'positive side would be.. that ID I guess should

represent.

Do we have one deity or more for Rahu ID- depending on which factors, if so?

 

As you see, It's more matter of /deeper/ understanding than getting information.

Dear Rajeev,

 

The planets in the 3rd and 6th from the AL, shows the methods one would employ

in this world to show his courage and fight battles/ litigations. If benefics

are placed, then he would not be interested in such things and would be saintly

and if malefics are placed then he would employ the means shown by those planets

in the areas mentioned above.

A question please to clarify my basics. In your message below I havent

understood ...."Now seen from Arudha, the ways employed by the enemies and you

I mean what is the exact rule(s) applied to conclude that there would be a

stalemate. Also please suggest some book for details of arudha positions and

their effects.

You have asked about the Mars and Saturn placement in the 6th house. Although

Malefics placed in the 6th house does give tremendous courage and ability to

win over enemies, nevertheless, it shows troubles from enemies too. This is

again a known fact that whenever Saturn and Mars are conjoined or placed in

opposition, it does show trouble to/ from the house it is placed. So Saturn and

Mars's presence in the 6th house, gives troublesome enemies and problems from

enemity. The nature of enemies can be seen from Saturn and Mars, i.e., Martial

and deceptive enemies. In the Navamsa Saturn is well placed in own house,

whereas Mars is placed with the vargottama Mercury and 6th lord. These all

shows involvement with frequent fights with enemies and litigations.

 

Now seen from Arudha, the ways employed by the enemies and you for fighting each

other, we can see that the planets who are in 6th from your AL is placed in the

3rd from A6, showing stalemate. Hmm... I guess its better avoiding fight is the

best course of action.

[sP] In the rasi chart 6th is the house of enemies and thats why the arudha of

enemies is A6 and shall show those things for the enemies, which is shown by

the AL for the self. However, for the tactics one uses for winning over the

enemies are dependent on 3rd and 6th from AL for the self and 3rd/6th from A6

for the enemies. Here we cannot give predominance on the 6th per se for tactics

of fighting enemies as both 3rd and 6th are equally important.

[sP] This is true in the rasi chart... From AL, it shows the means of fighting..

Hence benefics are no way good for fighting and also material pursuits from AL.

Beneifics in the 6th from Lagna, makes "No enemies or Benevolent enemies",

however in the 6th from AL, shows there is no means for fighting, as Malefics

only gives the means to fight and stand for domination.

[sP] In both Rasi and from AL it is a benefic, being opposed to Rahu, always.

[sP] During the dasa of a planet, the result of the house represented by the

Moolatrikona sign is more pronounced. The functional maleficence and

beneficence is depended on whether or not a planet owns 3rd, 6th or 11th . If

it owns, then it becomes a malefic or neutral (if it owns a auspicious house

along with this), irrespective of whether these house 3rd, 6th or 11th happens

to be a Moolatrikona or not. However, if they happen to be the moolatrikona,

then their evil is hightened. Now for Cancer natives, using these rules,

Jupiter should be taken as Inauspicious, however, Maharishi Parashara

pronounces otherwise. To understand this we can see what Ramanujacharya says in

Bhavartha Ratnakarak. He says, Jupiters cannot cause any yoga. Now Parashara

says that the 3rd/ 6th and 11th lordship prevents formation of any yoga. Now,

seeing Jupiter's relationship with the Lagna, we see that Jupiter gets exalted

in the Lagna and hence is auspicious, more so when Jupiter considers Moon a

friend. Thus even if Jupiter is auspicious for Cancer Lagna, it will not cause

any rajayoga.

[sP] Ista devata is the shower of the right path. When a planet like Rahu

becomes Ista devata, who will distract you from the right path. Moreover, when

a malefic is troubling you and also is the Ista Devata, then the solution

becomes very easy- Propititate the Ista and you are out of trouble.

[sP] In your case, the particular combination of Mars and Rahu indicate Chamunda

devi. Otherwise you could have taken Durga for Rahu.

 

As you see, It's more matter of /deeper/ understanding than getting information.
