Potential Krishna Chart

Narasimha, according to the best scholar in this regard whom I know,

namely Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakur, Kali-yuga had progressed 3,800 years in

AD 1879, and he claims Kali-yuga started just before the Battle of

Kuruksetra, thus according to the Bhagavatam 50 years before the Battle.

Then, counting in that order Sri Krsna must have appeared around 1960 BC.

I do have a chart for 1964 BC, but I have to do some more research on it.

Maybe you can help by listing the criteria and yoga's for birth in prison,

along with both parents in prison. That looks a good point for study.

Visti, you mentioned something about Saturn in 12th from lagna or Moon,

and Saturn has to be aspected by a malefic as well, and that it sounds

like a very general statement and would apply to too many charts, so it

must be from vighati lagna. There must be more to it, I'm just reading in

Brhat Jataka in the chapter on "Birth conditions" the sloka you mentioned,

and in this edition of P.S. Sastri he indeed mentions lagna or Moon. This

however can't be applicable to Krsna's chart as lagna and Moon are in

Taurus and Saturn would have to be about Libra. There is also a sloka, in

the same chapter for imprisonment of father, Saturn and Mars should be

together in a malefic sign (1,5,8,10,11) and/or from Sun in the 5th,7th or

9th. When Sun is in a fixed sign imprisonment is in his own country, and

since Sun is also 4th lord here, the same counts for mother as well.
