Guest guest
Hare Krishna Dear Sanjay, Pranams There were a discussions last month on proper sequences of MOola dasa,if ketu is involved etc. I am also trying to get right sequence for my chart. I think the answer is right here below in your post on sarpa yogas etc, Moola is the "root" cause and in this same line all the answers to MOola dasa are answered in your post ..as the logic and basis is the same from my point of view. When we meet at SJC west coast conference in Sunnyvale it would be great to continue our talks on Moola Dasa continuing from last year..if there is time! Thanks so much for your insights , I hope one day to beable to think deeply on my own. That is the signs in kendra are of one type and an affliction coming to one has its impact on other quadrants as well. Understand it like this. Lets say someones health is bad and he is in hospital or is undergoing serious treatment, then his work also suffers and he cannot go to work. If a person has no work and no means of income (10th is damaged) then his personal life also suffers as the wife is more inclined to leave him, fights at home etc etc. If there is no wife at all (7th is empty) then what to talk of making a home (4th house)! He is a free bird and can fly anywhere...that is the implication between the interconnectivity of the kendra. > > Lets say Sarpa yoga is not technically present and we have one malefic in lagna and two malefic planets in the 7th house. Guest guest
Your effective explanation on interconnectness of all angular houses affairs, made me 'mull over this issue further- Can it be that even one malefic in angle /if strenght, aspects, argalas do not intervene/ can have similar path of affecting crucial affairs of angular houses. However, you mentioned 3. Would you say 'serpent-like' /not full-kala sarpa yoga, obviously/ effect when you have Mars in forth trine Rahu in 8th, and therefore conjunct in Navasma. Would you be incined to see 'serpent-like' effects in this. This is a specific question. Broader one would be if we could/ if we do consider 'serpent like' effect with one, two malefics in any angle /even if it happens under 'some' circumstances only? God help, hope it's clear. Thanks. Guest guest
|Om tatsavitur varenyaam|Dear Anna, There are various types of problems from Serpents. The two you have mentioned are; i. Sarpa Yoga (malefics occupying 3 quadrants). ii. Kala Sarpa Yoga (All planets between Ketu and Rahu - counted in zodiacal order). There can be other problems from serpents such as; i. Sarpa shaapa (curse of serpents due to malefics having graha dristi on Rahu). ii. Sarpa Badhak (Badhak Sthana or Badhakesh associated with Rahu). In the example you mentioned there could be Sarpa Badhak (need to see the chart), but those two positions do not fulfill the criteria for Sarpa Yoga nor Kala Sarpa Yoga. As for malefics occupying angles. Note that out of the 4, 3 angles must be occupied to ensure the Sarpa Yoga - try to think about this. Guest guest
Thanks for your detailed and educative, as always, response. Whom of the two of us is '' 'sabotaging'? Visti has given his comments. You asked about Mars in 4th and in the example I gave this will have a bearing on the 7th house in a negative manner. Thats why this position classifies as a strong mangalik. Such people prefer having their spouse indoors and tend to be very domineering over their spouse and who he/she interacts with , their mail etc. Privacy of any sort is totally lost..its like MARS keeping GUARD on the 7th house. Now thats too much and add to this the aspect of Rahu on it....Elvis presley comes to my mind "Suspicion toments my heart..." and such a Rahu then goes on to break the marriage in the 8th house. Thats how they work. Technically there is no sarpa dosha as such but the chaturasras being afflicted in such a manner can damage the home front considerably. Guest guest
Very good summary. It's become clearer after you summarzed this. Thank You very much, Enjoy the summer, and Conference, AnnaVisti Larsen <balabhadra (AT) justnitin (DOT) com> wrote: |Om tatsavitur varenyaam|Dear Anna, There are various types of problems from Serpents. Guest guest
Om Gurave Namah Namaste Visti, With reference to sarpa dosha, I want to share the following with you. It is widely known that Sarpa dosha mainly afflicts marriage and progeny. In my chart the 5th lord is Mars and the chara Putrakaraka is Rahu and Rahu is also with badhak, Mercury (7th Lord)in the 9th house. You know that I have two sons and around the time of their conception, I invariably used to dream of HUGE snakes with their hoods open. I took a vow to name them after "nagendra" and both their names start with "Naaga". Regarding remedies, I was taught from childhood to do abhishekam with milk to the silver idol of "Shiva encircled by Nagaraja" everyday which I follow very religiously even now. Those who can not for some reason obtain a silver idol, may draw an image of a sarpa with vermillion (with three dots for a hood) on a wall in the pooja room and do abhishekam to this image. Especially on Nagapanchami/Naga chaturthi, this worship is mandatory in some parts of Andhra Pradesh and such a sarpa on the wall is called "Goda Nagamayya" in Telugu and this kind of worship is supposed to protect the inmates of the house from all kinds of afflictions related to sarpas. Recitation of Subrahmanya Ashtakam would also help. Guest guest
lakshmiji, hope u can read telugu. attached find a file for naaga (sarpa) dosha nivaarana which may be helpful to you. confirm receipt. t. v. rao - B Lakshmi Ramesh vedic astrology Tuesday, July 29, 2003 2:39 AM [vedic astrology] Re: Nagpanchmi / Sarpa Dosa/Moola dasa/sanjay Om Gurave NamahNamaste Visti,With reference to sarpa dosha, I want to share the following with you. I took a vow to name them after "nagendra" and both their names start with "Naaga".Regarding remedies, I was taught from childhood to do abhishekam with milk to the silver idol of "Shiva encircled by Nagaraja" everyday which I follow very religiously even now. Regards,Lakshmi Attachment: [not stored] Attachment: [not stored]
