Dear friends,

Om Namaha

It is generally said that retrograde planets give opposite results.

Lagnadhipathi, malefic or benefic gives good results as lord of

Square and Trikona. However if a Lagnadhipati is retrograde and

occupying his own house and having sufficient shadbala strength with

more Ishtaphala than Kashtaphala and lagna bhava has got very good

strength, shall we interpret that Lagnadhipati is beneficial and

gives positive results during his Dasa and Antardasas. For example

for a Gemini Lagna Mercury is retrograde and in Virgo Rasi with

shadbala strength of 132.0% and an Ishta phala of 52.1 against a

kashta phala of 6.8 and Bhava bala of first house is 10.23 and

fourth house is 10.29. So for these two houses and in general whether

Mercury has to be treated as Benefic Lagnadhipathi or not. Thank

you...vvrao
