Dear Gurus and members, I am hoping someone can clarify my doubts about what constitutes Sarpa yoga. I have read that it requires malefics in 3 distinct quadrants, yet recently in the discussion of Rajesh Kumaria's chart it was said that he had Sarpa yoga, yet his chart only has malefics in 2 quadrants, the first and seventh houses. Ketu is in the 1st and Rahu and Mars are in the 7th. Is this Sarpa yoga because it involves 3 malefics or is it somehow produced by the combination of Mars with the nodes? Being one of the dala yogas the results arise out of specific placement of planets. Other might have different views. Chandrashekhar.
