Guest guest
Dear Guru's and Learned Members, Namaste, I think I read some where the following, can you please confirm, whether the following is correct while the native is running Sade Sati:- "If Shani has 1 bindu in AV, it means that only 1 planet or lagna is helping it so the other planets are not favouring shani (or opposing its natural tendencies to delay or depart a person) hence in the significance of that planet shani cant cause havoc. If shani has 3 bindus or greater the effect will be felt but it will be way better that shani having 1 bindu." Thanks for your help in advance. Guest guest
|| Jaya Jagannath || Dear Gurudev, Although a lot has to be understood on AV by the normal mortal like us, some thoughts I have could be helpful in analysis of the transit on the basis of the AV. Now for Saturn's transit, we can check out both Saturn's astakavarga and also the sarvastakavarga. Most classic say that in the planet asktakavarga, if in a sign the no of dots is more than 4, the planets's transit through that sign is auspicious and beneficial. However, on closer examination we can find out, who are supporting and opposing the planet under consideration. The planets who are having their bindus in a particular sign is supporting the transit and hence shall be beneficial and those who are not contributing any dot can be inauspicious. >From this we can interpret that if during the Sade-sati, if the dasa of a planet who is contributing dots to the saturn's transit sign is running, then the effect of the sade sati would be less and vice versa. Can we do that! It implies trinal reduction but does it also mean that the dots are not like aspects as they are not carrying the nature of the planet and instead seem to take on the nature of the tatva in the trine. > ...understand and then do astakavarga. To do anything without understanding is an indication of tamas or rajas guna coming into the study and such a guna will cause the study to be lopsided. > Jagannath's blessings be on you to be on the path of knowledge. > ~ om tat sat ~ > Yours truly, > Sanjay Rath > --------------------------- > H-5, B.J.B Nagar, Bhubaneswar 751014, India, +91-674-2436871 http://srath.com > --------------------------- > > > Rao Nemani [raonemani] > Tuesday, July 22, 2003 1:06 AM > Vedic Astrology Group > [vedic astrology] Sade Sati and AV strength of Shani ? > > > Dear Guru's and Learned Members, > > Namaste, > > I think I read some where the following, can you > please confirm, whether the following is correct while > the native is running Sade Sati:- > > "If Shani has 1 bindu in AV, it means > that only 1 planet or lagna is helping it so the > other planets are not favouring shani (or opposing its > natural tendencies to delay or depart a person) hence > in the significance of that planet shani cant cause > havoc.
