doubt regarding profession of acting or singing

dear gurujis and members,

i am new to this group. i have been an ardent student of the great

science of astrology for the last fifteen years. i was of the view

that profession is dictated by lord of tenth house only if he is

strong. in case tenth lord is not strong then the depositor of tenth

lord or the depositor of tenth lord in navamsa will indicate the

nature of profession. in one case tenth lord venus is debilitated

being in virgo(ninth house) with mercury and jupiter. therefore i

had assumed that venus will not dictate the nature of profession but

mercury who is also the lord of navamsa occupied by venus will

dictate the nature of profession. hence during saturn mahadasa (who

is eleventh house and vargottama) and mercury antara i had predicted

that the native will be successful in singing becuase of mercury who

is karaka for singing and also becaue all the three benifics(jup merc

and venus) aspect third house whichis house for singing. but actually

the native succeeded in acting. how could this take place ?

i would request the gurujis and members of the group to clarify this

doubt.

Dear Balbir,

Does Venus not get cancellation of Neechaawastha as his ucchanath is not only

conjunct but in square from both the lagna and Lagna Lord? Besides Venus is the

lord of 1th the House of income.

dear chandrashekharji,

thanks for ur views, however in this case venus does not get its

debilitation cancelled because neither jupiter nor mercury are in

quadrant from lagna or moon. but i have read in one of the texts that

two debilitated planets will cancel their debilitation if they are

conjunct. in this case mercury although exalted is retrogade and

hence can be considered as debilitated. if it is so then is it that

both merc and venus cancel each others debilitation. i would be

grateful if u cud enlighten me on this cancellations.

Dear Balbir,

I misread your mail, I thought that the placement is in 10th house. However as

Venus gets exalted in pisces its conjunction with Jupiter would give a NBRY of

a lesser intensity.
