Remedies in astrology : the way they work

Remedies suggested in astrology work in two ways :

[ a ] Assume water flowing in a channel , and some brick piece or

stone falls into it and blocks the flow of water. Astrological

remedies can help remove that blockage so that the water starts

flowing as normal as before. The remedies can neither increase the

flow of water nor the force of flow. This is normally done through

appeasing the planet which is acting like a block . According to

the Lal Kitab the planet can also be made completely ineffective [ '

khatma karana' ] . This is the assisting function of the remedies.

[ b ] Assume a wild animal charging at you , the astrological

remedies can erect a protective wall around you . If the ferocity of

the animal is greater the wall can be raised still higher. But the

remedies can neither kill the animal nor hold his leg . This is the

protective function of the remedies.

 

Therefore we should evaluate the effectiveness of remedies keeping

these two limitations in mind .
