Matching Rules for horoscope

Can some one explain differeces between regular matching of 8 kutas

and gujrati tradition? I have seen some people using gujrati style of

horoscope matching but don't know the difference.

 

Also I have read somewhere that there is a Brihat-Melapak with 55

points for matching. Has any one more details of this melapak?

The regular 8 kutas have a total of 36 points.

 

BTW,Don't you think that signs are more important than houses,

at least in matching?
