My chart is attached with this mail. Kindly help in clearing my doubts. Following are my calculations. For Determination of Ishta Devta 1) In my chart, mercury is AK and it is placed in 6th house ( Aquarius) in Navamasa so it is karakmasa. 2) Now Ishta Devta is seen from Strongest Planetary influence on the twelfth house from Karakmasa, i.e. in my case it is capricorn. It does not contain any planet, so on second house I considered, so will my Ista Devta will be moon (2nd from karakamasa) or Saturn (lord of 12th house from karakamasa, i.e. lord of Capricorn) For Determination of Dharmaa Devta 1) For determination of Dharma Devtaa, 9th from Karakmasa is consdiered, that is Venus or Ketu placed in Libra, So will my Dharam Devta is Venus (as it is stronger planet) I request senior members / Gurus to kindly correct me in my learning process Kind regards, Neeraj ===== http://www.geocities.com/master_minds_india/ SBC DSL - Now only $29.95 per month! http://sbc. The reasons are: 1) In your chart, mercury is AK and it is placed in 6th house ( Aquarius) in Navamasa so it is karakmasa. 2) Now Ishta Devta is seen from Strongest Planetary influence on the twelfth house from Karakmasa, i.e. in your case it is capricorn. It does not contain any planets. So take the lord of Cap, which is Saturn. So your Ista is Saturn, hence your Ista Devta is "Narayana". I do agree with your Dharmaa Devta determination process. Now I will hand over this case to Guru's and learned members to correct me, if I am wrong.
