Guest guest Posted July 10, 2003 Report Share Posted July 10, 2003 does this not follow the rule applying to every other planet? as in what house does Ketu rule and what are its significations? also, what planets' drishtis are on ketu? and ketu's position in navamsa and dasamsa etc. my ketu is with mercury in sagittarius in 6th. ketu rules my AL in 5th in scorpio and it actually has resulted in some progress for me during its antardashas. but I am (I think) a fairly spiritual-minded person although not orthodox in my views or actions. I have insatiable curiosity about these matters. I think Ketu (when emphasized) can deepen curiosity about spirituality but not necessarily will it mean sanyas or renunciation in the material sense. but I think it CAN make a person less materialistic. even less ambitious in the worldly sphere. Benefics must be there and be strong, to ensure that the native will eat pure food (moon), not hurt life (jupiter), keep celibacy (venus) and observe non violence (mercury). The inate tendency towards renunciation must however be seen from the Moon among others. Parasara devotes a very long chapter to thise subject and each Yoga must be understood. Lastly but certainly not least. The Upapada is important. As for Ketu - deepening is the wrong word - as Rahu is the digger and keeps us in the loop of rebirth.
