when i asked my guru about what he felt on this issue, he very emphatically told

me that one should refrain from reading in a place like that.

what do the members and gurus feel about it?

i hope i haven't touched a sensitive subject.....but we must know..since a lot

of us love reading in there!!!!with good feelings

In my house evryone seems to have this habit- something that I consciously

discourage all the time- I look at it this way- any kind of vidya is a boon

from goddess saraswati- and loo is definitely not the place for it.

 

my pranayaam guru explained to me once how it vitiates the apaan vayu and

generally causes an imbalance in the pranavayu in the body because the brain

and the body are not working in harmony with each other.I wish i could explain

it better. Other members will give better explanations.just replied because

it's something that rankles me all the time.
