As the lagna is pisces, and the lagna lord is Jupiter.

So, the stone for jupiter is Yellow Sapphire. Now as

Jupiter is placed in 8th house. I doubt a bit, whether

the stone should be prescribed or not.

In earlier reference taken from this list, I was told

that a yogkarak planet, if debiliated or weakly placed

can be recommended (e.g. Mars for leo and hence red

coral can be recommended)

So, I am also curious to know, that as Lagnesh is

placed in 8th House (Duthanas) and also jupiter is

lord of 10th house. Can the Yellow Sapphire

recommended in this condition?

I request senior members / Gurus to throw light on

this situation.

As we know the Lagna lord always protects. If you are recommending a life

gemstone for the Lagan Lord this is fine. But if you are trying to recommend

for a yoga to happen. Arudha Lagna is in Taurus, and is aspected also by rasi

dristhi. Jupiter is also 6th from AL and in enemy's house/sign will face

misfortunes etc. As Venus denotes the Brahmin, it is perhaps better to perform

purifactory rites and give dakshina of white silk and gold. Then feed Brahmanas

after this. Depending on where Mars is placed, my preference would be Red Coral.

Of course this is dependent on what type of yogas it creates in this particular

chart (including all the vargas), hence you will expect good material results

during its antardasa.

BTW, as for the preference to Yellow Sapphire and not Yellow Topaz, check in the

archives for discussions regarding the two. :-) Best wishes,

I've received many contradicting suggestion re stone. I am Cn L/Sc Moon, and am

in AK Moon MD- I do wear pearl, but haven't noticed any effect.

1/Second stone suggested to me is Yellow Saphire, /or Citrine/-Lord of 6th and

9th in 9th House/In Saturn nakstra and oposite Saturn in 3rd/ - Jup is on Lagna

in AL and UL, and in 4th H in navasma, Sc. Sounds pretty safe choice. So, now I

have 2ct YS and 5ct Citrine, beautiful stones, however, not only that I don't

have impression they work well for me, but I doubt they are bad for me. Off and

on- not sure still. Would you please comment on this, and suggest the

appropriate one.

2/Mars is YK in 4th, and I'll be in Mars MD soon, but I learned not to wear

Coral, because Mars is in 8th fromAL/and UL/

3/Personally, I like Blue Saph and Diamonds, but they are the worst stones for

me/Venus badakhesh in 6th/ I love Violet, Black, Burgundy, Ametist...etc- I am

surprised that my 'inner-self' doesn't know what's good for me- otherwise

/food, company, choices../ I respect a lot my 'inner' inclinations or

repulsions..However, Here it obviously doesn't work.

I am thinking that Ju in Sa Naksh. gives Sa results, as /my favourite in colours

and other things/ Sa in Moon Naks..appears diferently..

Just a hypotesis..

Basic Q seems to be: Why did my sense fail here?

I would greatly appreciate your comments and suggestions , stone wise and

otherwise..what upayas would be, instead /for mars dosha, above mentioned

afflictions../

Thank you very much.
