Guest guest
Om Namo Narayanaya! Dear PS Ramanrayanan: Thanks a lot for the clarification you just gave me. Believe me, you helped me a lot drawing the lines to follow for studying this matter. Unfortunatelly since I live in Argentina, it´s not so easy for me to buy inmediately both books of Guru Sanjay Rath you have recommended me. Nevertheless I´ll try to buy them with the assistance of some friends that use to travel to U.S.A.. Meanwhile I have here at home "Jaimini Sutram" translated by P.S.Sastri and "Studies in Jaimini Astrology" by B.V. Raman, so I´ll try to find there some "keys" to understand more clearly your answer. God bless you, Mariano - "P.S. In general one of the avatars of Vishnu is the deity ruling Buda. All the deities viz., Ishta, palana, Dharma and Guru are all identified from Navamsa only. For Ishta devatha you will have to look for the planet placed/having stronger influence in/over the 12th to karakamsa , for Palana devatha you will have to look for the planet placed/having stronger influence in/over the 6th from Amatyakaraka and for Dharma devatha you will have to look for the strongest planetary influence on the 9th house from Karakamsa. For Guru devatha look for the placement of the Bhratrukaraka in the Navamsa. This means that the Bhrathrukaraka itself is the Guru Devatha. In your case Budha is placed in Simha in Navamsa. Simha is a fixed sign. Your Guru may be the one who is an ardent devotee of Krishna. If Budha had positioned itself in movable/dual signs it gives a hint that the Guru is the one who might be an ardent devotee of any other avatar of Lord Vishnu. Since both Rama and Krishna are the avatars of Lord Vishnu and you had not mentioned the specific sign in Navamsa i had asked you to chant "HARE RAMA KRISHNA". Going by the specific sign (Simha - fixed) you may chant "OM KRISHNA GURU". > > Chanting "HARE RAMAKRISHNA" opens up the third eye necessary for understanding the Jyotisha sutras. All your confusion will end up when Guru transits/aspects your Mantrapada(A5). > > You can refer to the books "Vedic Remedies in Astrology" by Sanjay Rath and Jaimini's Upadesa Sutras translated by Sanjay Rath. > > Best wishes, > > Astrologically yours, > > psramanrayanan >
Guest guest
---Om Brihaspataye Namah--- Dear Shri Ramanarayanan, In an earlier email you wrote: "When Guru transits/aspects(Rasi dristi) your Mantra pada(A5) you can find your Guru." Yesterday night, when reflecting, it suddenly flashed into my mind and I wanted to verify this. A5 in my natal chart is in Cn, with Ke and aspected by Ma/Ra/Ju. Around Guru Pushyami day in May, when Ju was transiting the A5, I got my jyotish guru in the Vimshottari dasha period of Ma(AK)-Ju! Thus your statement has been verified in my case! Thank you for sharing your insight in this most wonderful way! regards Hari
